Second visit, pulpo lacked seasoning and spices, coca excellent depth of flavors, flan sugar topping incinerated, uneatable, flan below was near perfect.
I went to Boqueria before a show at the BAM. The main dish I ordered did not come after more than one hour me and my party ordered. I left hungry. The appetizers were mediocre and the wine glasses we got ridiculously scant. The worse thing a restaurant can do is not feed you, that is their job! We were not treated very well.
My go-to restaurant whenever I go to BAM (which is quite often). Food, service, friendliness, and wine make it a perfect spot.
Food is always awesome here. My favorite is the garlic shrimp....heavenly!
I went to this location expecting the quality of food that SOHO and UES locations have. It was horrible. The brunch menu was not good. The Brooklyn location is not cozy at all. Wont go back!
Very good food, but very expensive and even for tapas, the portions are small. Sangria is great and a good value if you share a pitcher with friends, but very expensive per glass. Nice atmosphere, but unless you have lots of money to burn, this place is only good for a rare treat.
Would for sure go back again.
Excellent service and even better food!! Everything was flavored to perfection and really tasty. We really enjoyed our meal. We especially enjoyed the eggplant and crispy potatoes tapas.
Good food, quick service. Good for quick bite pre-theater or full dinner. We will definitely be back.
first time here and before a BAM Harvey performance. they were very accommodating helping me to get a low table since I recently had surgery and would have found the high stools hard to maneuver. wish they had more low lying seats by the way. at any rate the food we ordered was excellent, the service was cordial and attentive and we will definitely return before another BAM performance where we are friends.
Gambas al ajillo just like Spain. Really authentic!
WE enjoy the TAPAS always, and the great wine suggestions..
There are excellent entrees but we often do not get there..
And good desserts too, the Churros are spectacular.
The service has ALWAYS been excellent. This time. Giselle, our server, was particularly wonderful
Service and vibe was dynamite, the food was awful. The Brussels sprouts were hard and under cooked, the steak was cold and flavor less. Food came out extremely fast. I was really hoping for good Spanish Tapas food. I want them to get it right.
Food was amazing! Had land skewers and the pulpo. The Jamón Iberuco the best I’ve had. We were going to a concert afterwards and didn’t want a heavy meal. This place was perfect!
we went for a pre-event meal and were not disappointed. The food was flavourful and our server was very attentive.
Perfect BAM pre-theatre restaurant. Creative neuvo Latino, truly shareable small plates; octopus and shrimp perfectly, cooked, octopus almost a composed dish with potatoes and fennel sides, egg plant and butternut squash small plates were flavorful and textured; creative desserts based around Churros in various shapes.
Received strange croquettas. Only wanted the classics truffle and received another kind served over quince. Cheese plate could not be smaller. Barely any cheese. Arrived after brunch but waiter should not have encouraged bottomless brunch then. I usually like it here. Very disappointed with last visit.
Food was great, service was great. In a perfect location if your going to BAM or The Barclay's.
The food is always great but the service has been terrible on my last two visits (different servers).
So dependable and outstanding. We have never been disappointed. There must be a unique process for selecting staff. Each has been polite, refined and knowledgeable and more than willing to take the extra step.
We were excited to go here as we recently moved into the neighborhood. Our excitement quickly turned to disappointment first by the poor customer service provided by our server, next the tapas were ok albeit very salty and finally, the paella which we expected to be the highlight of our meal was not paella, rather it was a fried rice dish.
Pleasant attentive staff, delicious food and lovely ambiance.
Had a nice pre-theater meal here with friends. The food came out quickly and everything was tasty, from the sangria to the churros. I would go back here again if I was in the neighborhood and wanted something more elegant than fast food before a show at TFANA or BAM.
Quality has gone down tremendously. Ambiance and food especially.
Excellent tapas with good wine and cocktails. Perfect for pre or post dining at BAM or TFANA.
Great food, good service very close to The Theater For A New Audience and the Harvey
Best brunch. Good choice for my dad’s 50th, his first bottomless brunch!
Ambience & food great, our server Joseph excellent!
One of the best restaurants. Such unique menu options and everything was absolutely amazing!
The food was overwhelming because of the amount but it was all great especially the tost.
we got the Chef's Special or Choice - it was amazing. Service with Lee was great!
Authentic Spanish cuisine in Brooklyn? Yes! Everything from sangria to tapas to churros was incredible, as was the service. I've been to another location in a different setting, so the noise level (shared space, open concept, train underneath) was a little more than I expected, but it didn't damper our conversation at all. Can't wait to go back.
Awesome! Our server was spectacular.
The best brunch in BK. Handsdown
Great place for exceptional Spanish food. Always a winner.
FANTASTIC EVERYTHING!!!!! The food, service, staff, and setting .... ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS
Very good tapas but somewhat limited menu. Across the street from BAM's Harvey theater, and convenient to the other BAM buildings and TFANA. Only misgiving is that the restaurant is located on the ground floor of new luxury high rise and is emblematic of the uber-gentrification of the area in recent years.
The tapas are extraordinary, I have trouble passing up on any!
real wine selection.
Friendly warm knowledgeable staff!
I have been to several Boqueria’s, and I found this location to be surprisingly cold and sterile, and slightly reminiscent of a remodeled fast food restaurant. Food was just like the other locations, although it was my first time ordering the cheese plate, which.... I wouldn’t recommend at all. But luckily all the tapas are quite delicious so you won’t be missing that cheese and charcuterie plate if you don’t order it. ;) the croquetas are sublime, P.S.
