We had a lovely and memorable Anniversary dinner at Mizuna 2 day ago. Our waiter was charming, interesting, and very helpful with our menu choices. The sommelier was also very knowledgeable and informed. Historically, we've always had superlative experiences at this very fine dining establishment.

My wife is French and a professional pastry chef -- and this is her favorite restaurant in Denver. Always great food, prepared with traditional mastery and served with attentiveness. Wine list is superb at the high end and ok at the low end, but wish they had more choices of solid bottles in the $50-100 range. Do not miss the Banana Bread dessert -- not your grandmother's version.

It was a wonderful dining experience with so much individual attention to us (celebrating our 35th anniversary) and amazing detail to each course served. We were able to request the tasting menu Gluten Free for my allergy and they didn't miss a beat at serving one of the most amazing meals of my life along with perfect wine pairings for each course. BRAVO!!

Simply: the experience was exceptional. There is a level of "good" that makes you satisfied, and there is another level of good that shifts your perspective of evaluation entirely. Each dish of the Chef's Choice (well worth it) didn't "inspire a feeling from the past", they acted as a time-machine: I found myself transported to enjoyable experiences I hadn't remembered in a decade. As much as I tried, I couldn't help but laugh (literally, laugh) as I first tasted each dish... either out of pure awe and appreciation for how fantastic the food was, or maybe, how simple I must be. In this case, on this occassion, I didn't care which. I could add how each course, or the perfectly aged Old Fashion, made me feel, but its unfair to the chef to prescribe my experience to others with the expectation each visitor will have the same. So, do the restaurant justice, and go have your own. You won't regret it.

The best meal we've had in a very long time. Service by Jamie was excellent, highly informed, never obsequious. But the food. Unbelievably delicious, carefully done and presented. Beef Wellington and duck Breast Maigret the best we've ever had of both.

We had walked from the Denver Art Museum and it was quite blustery and we were chilled to the bone. We were warmly welcomed at the door and proceeded to enjoy one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The service was excellent without being stuffy and the fare was fabulous! Alas, no pictures as we were too busy savoring every bite. Thank you!

I was trying to plan a dinner for my daughter's birthday and I got an email from Open Table that mentioned Mizuna. I am so glad I clicked through to read their menu and look at pictures. This was my family's first visit and we all loved it. The scallops were delicious, as were all of the other dishes. They have a good selection of wine and bottled beer, no beers on tap. Everyone who worked there was friendly and the service was excellent. We will definitely be going back.

For my birthday, this was not first time. As always they make new tastes so that way, we never have same experience. We don’t know how they create that new tastes all that time. But one thing for sure they don’t make us get tired of French. Thank you.

Food was lack luster. Only the beef cuts used in the beef wellington was seasoned. Everything else was bland and mushy. No flavor. The staff was amazing and the ambiance was dark and crowded. It was not a good birthday experience for my wife.

Mizuna never disappoints. This our favorite restaurant in the Denver area. While we aren't "regulars" the staff remembers us and treats us like regulars. The lobster mac&cheese is fabulous, and a riot would start on 7th Ave if they ever removed it from the menu. The wine list is extensive and well appointed in multiple price points. Jamie, Tim, and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and wonderful at taking care of you. Sit back, relax, enjoy. It's handled.
