   We had a wonderful meal on a lively Saturday night. We both had the filet mignon and they were cooked to our satisfaction. The chocolate and caramel tart was shared and was very rich! Staff was busy and very attentive.

   Absolutely loved this beautiful restaurant! I would choose French onion soup over escargot as an appetizer. Solid service and beautiful place

   Absolutely loved this place from the food to the way the restaurant was set up, made me feel like I was in a garden. Cannot wait to come back and enjoy some outdoor dinning.

   Service was pathetic. We have waiting so long just to get out wine. The order arrived wrong. Food was average. Burger was poor and not that tasty. Way too expensive for the experience we had. Sorry Boucherie, I will never come back.

   We had early dinner on a Monday. Cute brasserie in the West Village. We were seated promptly and we ordered soup and entrees. Food was ok. The onion soup was a decent offering of that classic. But the wine reduction sauce on the rack of lamb had almost no flavor. Since the point of a reduction is to intensify flavor it was a big miss on their priciest entree. The busperson was efficient and cleared our plates and asked if we wanted dessert menus. We did. But then no one came for over 25 minutes. We sat there with empty wine glasses until it was obvious that we now needed to leave since we were meeting friends later. No dessert. In desperation I tapped one of the many waiters passing by to ask them to tell our waiter we needed the bill. He finally appeared, apologized but offered no remedy. Next time in the village we’ll try a different place.

   We had the most perfect mother's day brunch here. My husband and I took my mom and stepdad and everyone loved it. I had the Norwegian benedict which was so very delicious! We sat upstairs and had a bird's eye view of the restaurant--lovely! It was a gorgeous day and the doors were open and it was overall a wonderful experience. Service was prompt and friendly. It truly couldn't have been better--I'm so grateful to Boucherie - West Village for this lovely mother's day brunch with my mom!!

   I called 2 times before my Mother's Day reservation to ask if I could add one more person to the reservation to make it 4 instead of 3. Both times the people on the phone said "No, its a 3 top table". Given it was Mother's Day and my mom wanted another person to join I was upset, but understood since it was a 3 top. However, when the 3 of us showed up on Sunday, we were seated at a 4-top table and had an empty setting and seat at the table the entire meal. Very frustrating that I was told we couldn't have an extra person for no reason and they didn't end up coming... The food was good and service was quick.

   From the moment we walked in, the hostess was extremely rude. Took awhile for the server to get to our table. Steak and eggs were not made to order. Steak was burnt and eggs overcooked.

    General gaslighting to cover for pitiful service. Burger ordered medium came out rare and bloody. Waiter said red - not even pink but red - is medium at their restaurant. Brought a new burger that was well done. Apparently there’s nothing between rare and well done. Asked the waiter to recommend a dry white and he recommended a Riesling. A bit surprised, “we asked is it really dry?” And the answer was yes (dry rieslings do exist!). Wine was very sweet. When brought to attention of waiter, “Rieslings are a sweet wine” — but when we recounted discussion/recommendation from before said, “Oh well this one is a dry Riesling but it’s probably just sweet to you.” Honestly I want my money back. Pitiful.
