Once again we had a fabulous dinner at Rum Fish. We love our waiter Chris, the food was incredible and the ambience dining outside was the best.

All was great apart from the limited menus on Sundays. My favorite dish wasn’t available before 2. However, the salad and service were stellar.

Delicious food, great service from everyone from reception to waitress to guys who kept our Hester exactly at the right temperature. Don’t miss the flatbreads or the mussels!

Completely unexpected for Ventura! You wouldn’t know this restaurant is the “it” place without being there. The people were all so nice. The flavors of the food and drinks amazing. The vibe was perfect. Relaxing but fun and energetic. Definitely going again!

Had requested a main patio table when I made the reservation but in spite of having empty tables on that patio, we were seated in an adjacent area out of view of the main patio which is pretty with citrus trees, foliage and flowers . When I reminded hostess of our request I was told that since we made the res on the same day, we couldnt have that table..: Food was ok. 2 of us ordered the Wagyu burger which is usually pretty good but this time not so much- the bun was very soggy making it impossible to pick up the burger even after cutting it in half. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food

Great ambience - i have dined here multiple times and something about the food is always off. Yesterday the conch fritters were undercooked and my cocktail was way too sour! Would love to see some updates to the menu.

This was my first time back in several years and I was thrilled at how good the food was. I had the chicken dish and it was some of the best chicken I’ve had in a restaurant. The perfectly cooked chicken was complimented by sweet potatoes and jicama slaw with tomatillo salsa that made it super savory .It was really a memorable dish. Loved it! I also sampled my husbands pork tacos and they were great too. We had a party of 9 and everyone loved their food. It was a lovely evening. We will go back soon.

Midweek lunch on the patio was lovely. Dog friendly. Quiet. Loved the fish tacos and halibut sandwich. Will definitely return

Really pleased to have found this place while traveling. Great ambience with excellent outdoor seating options. Food was terrific and fairly priced, generous drinks and a friendly relaxed vibe.
