Farm-to-table dining in the comfort of our home: that is the unique experience you will find at Urban Hearth. Located in a cozy North Cambridge storefront, our intimate dining room, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and exquisitely crafted menu are the heart of our dinner service. Join us for a la carte or at our chef's counter where you'll have the pleasure of interacting with Chef Erin Miller while dining.

We share a story of culture, community, discovery and home. The globally-inspired, locally-sourced dishes we serve celebrate our rich and complex connection with food. The table is set, whether marking a special occasion or the end of a busy day, we look forward to sharing the evening with you. We welcome private event bookings for graduations, birthdays, weddings and more. To equalize the pay disparity between tipped staff & kitchen staff during our busy times, we add a 5% kitchen appreciation fee to each check. We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations.

    One of the best meals I’ve had in the Boston area. EVERYTHING was delicious and we enjoyed all of the dishes we shared.

    The food was novel and outstanding. No problems there, would recommend to a friend and return myself. The only problem was the awful wine list. The recommended wine we had did not stand up to the strong flavors of our meal. The selections were very limited and could stand a serious upgrade with professional recommendations.

    Culinary delight. Imaginative combinations and great service with a somewhat limited menu. Went there with my adult children. We ordered over half the menu. Everybody loved the shared plates. Now we know why Chef Erin was nominated for a James Beard award. The red wine I ordered was amazing. The cocktail could have been better (YMMV).

    Wonderful food, those Tandoori Carrots are memorable, but all the food was delicious. Service is great and the place has a great feel to it.

    We did the chefs tasting table experience. It was mind blowing! Everything was just amazing in taste, creativity, and presentation. Highly recommended.

    This is my wife's favorite restaurant in Cambridge, and mine now too. We went here for her birthday and at first, we could not get in, but the manager worked it out after I sent her a note. Very nice people. The food was so good, though pricey, well worth it for a special occasion. Reminded me that it's better to go out less often and spend my money at a nicer place.
