Guy Fieri’s Philly Kitchen + Bar
We enjoy all of Guy’s restaurants. This one has a smaller menu but that doesn’t mean the portions are smaller. We had a variety and everything was delicious. I had the brisket sliders from the appetizer menu and they were perfect! My sister and husband had a burger and bbq pork respectively. They both enjoyed their dinners and were slow to finish.
The waitress staff and hostesses were very friendly and helpful, pleasant and professional. The food starting from the appetizer to the main food course was outstanding.
Food is good I can't wait to go back. Service great. Thank u travis.
view was great from window booth.service was very good .food was very good except for fatty tasteless ribs that were smothered in barbecue sauce ,I guess to conceal there bad greasy taste.pulled pork tacos were great.meal was way overpriced if you didn't have a Groupon voucher.but.it is a casino,so, they are gonna gouge you.
Had a good time nice view of the race track and the food was very good
Very disappointed in the Margarita my wife ordered.
Food was average at best. I saw the Trashcan Nachos on the Channel6 news in the morning
with Guy. They looked nothing in reality, and were bland.
This was a huge disappointment. Food arrived before drinks. Service was extremely slow, nice enough, but sloooowww. Two of us at the table were given each other’s entrees even when we told the servers what we were supposed to have. We didn’t realize it until we complained and then were treated like it was our fault. On top of that the food was extremely bland. Guy Fieri needs to provide some serious training here. We will not be going back.
The food was absolutely delicious and very big desserts!
Came to see horse racing and enjoy the food which is amazing!
I recommend they close it down. The food is bad, the price is worse, there is no service and they lack a manager
Wife gave me a $30 Groupon for my birthday in September. We finally went the other day. Here's the long and short of it:
1. Not a great part of town. Kind of run down
2. Harrahs Casino literally butted up against a prison. No biggie, but weird and doesn't add to the experience
3. Service from start to finish was quick, friendly.
4. The view overlooking the racetrack was pretty cool.
5. Clean table
6. FYI - This was a Saturday afternoon. Not busy or crowded. No idea how it is at night.
7. Wife got French Onion Soup. She liked it. More savory than sweet. Lots of cheese. Super hot.
8. The HUGE plate of nachos cam next. Easily enough for 4-6 people. They would have been great, but they were more sweet than salty. When I asked the waitress why they were sweet, she said, "we pour Guy's signature BBQ sauce on there". Soooo.....yeah. We didn't eat much. Don't know about you, but when I eat Nachos, I want salty and cheese. They were cheese, but the sweet thing threw the dish way off. Neither of us liked them.
9. We both got burgers. Again, super big. Decent flavor, but SUPER greasy. Dripping. I ate most of it our of spite/hunger. It was fine. Wouldn't recommend really. If you were drunk it'd be great I think. I don't drink.
10. The fires (three different kinds) were crispy and decent. No complaints.
11. Last, we shared a slice of the chocolate cake. EASILY the highlight of the meal. We both ate it all and wanted more. Very satisfying and the only reason I would go back. Honestly, the thought of eating that burger again kinda makes me queasy.
Bonus fact: My wife didn't;t finish her burger, so she brought the rest home to my son who LOVES burgers of all kinds. Fast food, Five Guys, etc. His review of Guy's Burger: "Meh, it was underwhelming"
Spent $51 after the $30 discount. Glad we went. Different experience, but......we won't be going back.
Had a good meal. Great service from Leisha.
I am pretty sure that was her name. But she was awesome!!!
Will definitely be back.
The menu has changed with some different menu choices. However, they took off the shrimp wrapped in bacon which I thought was a big seller. There really isn't anything healthy on the menu except for the 3 salads they offer. The chicken sandwich with ranch and bacon was overwhelming and was deeply fried. Prices are ok.
They changed the menu again. They had the best chicken and pasta meal that I have ever tasted and they removed it from the menu. I was going there just for that. I purchased a Groupon so I had to use it on a meal that I didn't like once I received it. So I won't be going back.
Fries were not hot and crispy. This type of restaurant should know how to cook fries.
Very noisy due to high ceilings and loud television speakers. I had a Groupon so the high prices were tempered by the discount obtained. You do get a great deal of food for the money, and my hamburger was tasty. It was our first experience eating at a local casino, so we wanted to try it out. We sat by a window so were able to see some of the harness races, which were fun to watch. My daughter went at another time and she thought it was a good experience, so this is just my own personal opinion.
they had no french onion soup....one of the better items that they serve????/
How do you run out of this item?
Servers folding tablecloths at bar....this should be done out of the sight of guests. Uncleaned bar also.
My wife and I went there for our 32nd wedding anniversary. The place was very empty and quiet. we sat by the windows overlooking the race track and watched the airplanes coming into the airport. the server was a nice young lady Sophie. our only complaint was the food was very poor. we ordered two appetizers and an entrée. the bucket nachos had some cheese that had set up from being cold and just a hint of sourer cream. Sophie apologized and tried to remedy the situation by bringing us some melted cheese. The old bay wings we could not eat because they were so salty. and the entrée was awful. we spent 84 dollars and left very disappointed.
My meal and experience was better this time than last time. I got in just before the start of the football games and thought I'd be rushed and uncomfortable. But I wasn't. I let my waiter know about my prior experience and I was treated with respect and taken care of. The food was delicious and I went home a happy man.
Service was fast. So fast we got our entrees about 3 minutes after getting our appetizer. As far as the appetizer we got the trash can nachos. Interesting concept but not good. Seemed like a whole wheat tortilla chip. In order to get the chips into the "can" they have to be soggy. Soggy nachos are not edible. Patty melt and burger my wife had were 5 star. Great taste and cooked perfectly.
I had their burgers on a cruise. Best damn burger I’ve ever had! I’ve been searching for them since. Finally found them. Still as good as I remember.
Have a great time and great food will definitely go back
Very disappointed. Being a restaurant of a celebrity chef we were expecting great food and atmosphere. Food was bland and over cooked. Location inside a casino was interesting but overall location in an industrial area was very unimpressive. All of us got upset stomachs when we got home.
My burger was fantastic and an extremely large portion. Cooked to perfection and very juicy.
Trash can nachos were excellent, tacos were just so-so. Enjoyed watching the horses race as we ate although the tables, utensils etc could have used a refresh.
I had to send the wings back, the players was hotter than the wings and the chicken tasted like it was reheated in a microwave. The rest of the meal and the experience followed this lead
The old bay wings were really tasty but everything else we ordered was subpar at best unfortunately. Cheesesteak with congealed cheese and grisly meat, dried out ribs with dry cornbread and nasty cole slaw...Guy would’ve been embarrassed I think!
We had a burger and the chicken tenders. The burger was good, great flavor and loaded with shaved prime rib. Unfortunately the fries were lukewarm and stale, not acceptable for $18.
The chicken fingers are a total rip off.
No wonder they have been advertising on Groupon.
Service was slow - waited approx 15 minutes for a server to come to the table (the restaurant was not busy, so not sure why we weren’t greeted sooner). Ordered 2 appetizers - chicken tenders and artichoke spinach dip, which took another 20 minutes to arrive. $14.00 for 5 chicken tenderloins which were “okay”, nothing out of the ordinary, $10.00 for the spinach dip which was good. Overall, mediocre experience - you’re paying for Guy Fieri’s name, as the food and service certainly were not worth the price. Save your money, go to The Erin Pub in Norwood which is 10 minutes from Harrah’s - you’ll get better service and excellent food at a great price.
The food here was phenomenal. Portions were just the right size. Everything was hot when served and service was awesome. I would recommend this to everyone.
Was excited to try this restaurant. Overall it wasn't that spectacular. Windows were dirty, atomosphere flat, and the food was so, so. Wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again.
Service was great, food looked great but wasn’t at all. The potato Mac and cheese was very dry and so was the grilled cheese. It also had no flavor to it. The ribs where dry, were not fall if the bone and in fact you had to work hard to get the meat off. The chili was decent.
I'm a huge Guy fan. Watch all his shows, so I was excited to go to his restaraunt in the Harrah's Casino in Chester. My wife and I went for my birthday. Service was amazing. Host, wattress were great. Friendly and fun. The food lacked unfortunately. Trash can nacho's were soggy, brisket was hard, the ratio of toppings didn't accomodate the mounds of cheese and I love cheese, pickled onions, jalopions and tomato were lacking, wish there were more to complete the bite, and the sauce was way too sweet. I was excited to try the wings. The wings were dry and lacked sauce. The cheesesteak guys way was awesome and that garlic mayo wow. Our fries were hard. My wife was disapointed in the turkey burger. The pretzel bun was hard. You can play frizby with it. The turkey burger was dry and the cranberry relish lacked depth. I love him, huge tripple D fan, we even traveled to some locations but unfortunately I was disappointed on my bday and I'm kinda sad about it. Maybe bc we had 8pm reservations and they close at 9pm. I'm still a fan thats never gonna change. Guy Fieri is still awesome
I like Guy Fieri so lets start there. Bar and draft beers thumbs up. Food...tasteless, pedestrian TGIF Friday’s fare.
Food was terrific! I had the 1/2 rack ribs. They were tender, juicy and very flavorful. The Mac & cheese was amazing. Plenty of leftovers to take home.
Some of the food has changed and taken off the menu
Prok tacos for app were alright. Steak was ordered medium rare and came out over well. They brought out a new one but I had to wait 20 minutes while my partner stared at his chicken sandwich. His meal was very bland. The cheesecake tasted like it was defrosted a week ago. For the price of the menu options and it being limited we left very underwhelmed. The AC location was much better in comparison.
Our visit was great, only surpassed by our excellent waitress, Elisha (sp?)
The food😍, the people and the servers were nice. The overall experience was what I was looking for in having a nice time🤗🤗🤗🤗
Made lunch reservations. We were running late and there was no problem accommodating us a little later.
Got the Tuna Wontons for an app... Amazing! I had the Shrimp Po Boy for lunch... Great quality of shrimp fries were also delish! My friend got the BLT and agreed it was a good lunch pic.
Bar service was ok... Slow for sure and they were not busy. The Jalapeno Margarita was AMAZING!!
Looked out right on the track. Windows and ledges were very dirty.
Overall I would definitely go back and eat there again! More of a lunch spot then dinner in my opinion!
