    The risotto was over-sauced & watery. Good flavor, but more like risotto soup. The Fettuccine was over-sauced but good flavor. We didn’t complain because it appeared that was the norm when I looked at other tables. It was an ok dining experience but they could definitely improve.

    Food was tasty, our server was very kind. The only thing was the timing of appetizers and our bar drinks was fairly off. If you go, expect to spend a fair amount of time there. Their prices are fairly reasonable and there location is very close to several parking garages. Overall was a positive experience!

    As usual, PERFECTION. A great martini with the blue cheese stuffed olives along with my favorite pasta. I’m sure my next reservation here won’t be far off. Thanks for always creating a great atmosphere as well as food, service, and drinks!♥️

    Food and service is great there. This is the first time that the food could have been hotter , not heated enough as I got the lasasgne special which was probably already prepared and just needed warmed, could have been warmed more. That being said food and service is always excellent there. My favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh

    The food was delicious. My husband inhaled his seafood pasta dish! The risotto was out of this world! The focaccia with chili oil had just the right amount of heat. And the homemade ginger ale - oh my! Service was efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Only complaint is that it was a bit noisy, however it is light up week and they were busy so understandable. Also thanks for being gluten friendly!

    Tried this place on a whim and we could not have been happier with every aspect. I believe our server was Jason and he was so knowledgeable and attentive. There is a vast drink menu and they are more than happy to craft a mocktail that suits your tastes. The menu is carefully crafted and everything was delicious. We started with the focaccia and Calabrian chili oil for a dipper. I ordered the gnocchi and my partner ordered the risotto - both were so incredible. Portions are very generous, especially for the price. For 2 drinks, the oil, and our entrees our bill was under $90, which considering the quality, portion size, and location, is a steal. We’d recommend this to anyone looking for a delicious filling meal in town.

    Best meal I’ve ever had. Everything was incredible. I had one of the signature cocktails and a French 75 and both were absolutely delicious. Dangerously good. We did the burrata with garlic oil and it paired so nicely with their homemade bread. We also had meatballs and they were the best we had ever had. We are hopefully going to order some for the upcoming holidays. The pizza was amazing, everything is so fresh. We had the sausage and peppers and it was the perfect amount of kick and it worked so well with the sauce. Service was amazing and it was very clean. 10/10, I can’t wait to go back!

    We decided to try Talia before going to the Benedum to see a live show. We were seated right next to the kitchen, which is never an ideal spot. Tables of people were sat, but per the staff, it seemed to be a slow night. Our server was Jason. It seemed like he had a large section of the restaurant to take care of, so I can understand if he was overwhelmed. He knew we were going the show at 7:30 pm. It wasn’t until the end of the night that I was rubbed the wrong way. It took awhile to get our last order of drinks and even longer for him to grab our check to pay. As we were nearing 7:30 pm, we decided to not ask him to split the checks separately since we were becoming late for the show. Instead, we both placed our cards in the check holder. When he came back after running our cards, he only had my friend’s card in the card holder….but it was MY credit card that was used to pay for the full amount of the bill. Like I said, both of our cards were placed in the bill holder. So why couldn’t I find my credit card in the card holder? My friend quickly realized it was my card that was run for the full amount when he went to sign for the bill. I then noticed Jason had my credit card in his hand, unsure if he was planning on giving it back? I’m not sure if he thought I wouldn’t notice since we were running late or if he didn’t realize he had my card in his hand? But when he told us to have a good night, I finally said “can I please have my card back? It’s been in your hand this entire time rather than the check holder.” He gave me a weird look as if he knew he was caught, smirked and set my card on the table. I’m not sure what he was trying to do or get away with, but I’m so turned off from the restaurant and will not be back.

    Delicious food with great service. Many thanks to our waiter Rodrigo who had the kitchen split the salad and entrée that my husband and I shared. Great pacing of our dinner as our entrée arrived several minutes after our salad was cleared. And the wine list contains bottles from many well known and lesser known regions of Italy--unusual and welcome. Thanks to all at Talia for taking such great care of us during our visit!

    One of our go to places when in Pittsburgh. The food is amazing, and as one of us is a gluten free eater- it’s great to come here where they offer gluten free pastas and the best GF pizza my better half has ever had. You just can’t go wrong here- pasta, pizza, or steak- cooked to perfection and with great service too. Check it out, you won’t be sorry!

    One of Pittsburgh’s VERY best restaurants. It is at the top of our list. The food is always fresh, locally sourced and outstanding. Every staff member is friendly, professional and attentive.     Interesting twists on some traditional Italian dishes. Food was delicious and filling. Good-sized portions. Wine list and cocktails had quality selections- not overwhelmingly long or unusual. Friendly server. Pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely return and recommend to others. My ONLY complaint is that the booth seats are a bit far from the table. Definitely put the napkin on your lap!

    Bar is limited in its liquor selection. Had to wait 1/2 hour for a drink as what we ordered was unavailable. Nothing strange; items that most bars carry. Food was excellent. Thanks to our server Sean who continued to assist us. Good job Sean.

    Our server told us one chef was fired and one chef quit and the menu was new and wow no one in the kitchen even knew how to boil pasta—total train wreck of a meal—I hope they straighten it out —used to be a really solid restaurant

    Food was just OK for the price. Antipasti appetizer was good. They ran out of arugula for the salad so kale was substituted - big misstep there. Ravioli was good, Scallops were small and were floating in some watery beans, which was disappointing. Side of pasta was awful - it was cold and undercooked. Not what you'd expect from an upscale Italian restaurant. The wine service totally missed the mark. White wine served with the bottle on the table and no ice bucket. And paying 3x-4x retail price for wine (which is typical for Pittsburgh) and having to fill your own glasses is equally disappointing.

    Most likely the worse food and service we have ever experienced. We were there on a Saturday that seemed busy. First our food took 45 minutes to arrive and when it did the food was terrible. I was served a 10 oz piece of fat and grissel and completely overcooked that they called a lamb loin. My wives pasta was dry and all the noodles stuck together obviously sat on the pass for a long time. Terrible

    We had a great experience. Our server was Lexi. You couldn't ask for a friendlier, kinder or more attentive server. She took great care of us and made terrific menu suggestions too. We loved the meatballs, cauliflower dip, focaccia and pastas along with a delicious Barbera wine. It was a really pleasant evening and we'll be back next time we are in Pittsburgh again. Thanks!

    Four of us went for a pre-theater relaxed dinner and we were very pleased. The Branzino was excellent! Lamb was very good. Mixed reviews on the Braciole. Our waiter (Damen sp?) was terrific and his recommendations were spot on. The house Barbera was better than the Barbera by the bottle, so don't hesitate to drink wine by the glass. Desserts were excellent as well. All in all it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience!

    My boyfriend & I went for dinner for the first time last night. First, the pics on line are very deceiving. We thought it was an upper scale restaurant, quiet atmosphere, & a relaxing vibe. Not the case. The music was loud & the pics on line do not match the vibe. However, The food was very good! The service was wonderful!
