   We love IE! Fresh takes on comforting classic Italian food. I loved the apple + root salad, the casarecce, and the due sfoglia (basically 2 sheets of lasagna noodles cooked up in a way that browns them and brings out a delicious, eggy flavor)

   We love the new i.e just as much as the old one. We had a fabulous belated Mother's Day experience and look forward to many wonderful date nights!

   Food was consistent with new ownership but the service was so bad, sadly, we will not return. Out server was slow and forgetful, and had incredibly bad timing. Five different staff members interacted with our party of four. Drinks were slow and delivered by four different people. The server said he would pack uneaten food, but never brought it back to our table. When we inquired upon leaving, he handed us a bag with takeaway containers…when we got home it was not our food. In summary, service should not be a team sport in the front of the house. We miss the dedication of the servers under the former management. Their attentiveness, training and timing was exceptional and well worth the +20% gratuities that have now become standard.

   Pasta dishes were excellent. We sat outdoors, which was very convivial. Excellent service. Will definitely visit again.

   We had a really sweet meal at the new IE. Food was really good; service even better. I love how you can change your pasta for the dish.

    The restaurant itself is lovely, the wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was gorgeous and soooo good. The Mushroom Cappelletti was lip smacking good.
