   As always the food was great, our server was amazing and made us feel welcomed. Live music is wonderful but the Venue was a bit small to have a band that loud. Their Music was awesome but need to lower the volume. Overall it was a great night

   I have been a big fan of The Frog and Turtle, but I don’t plan on going back anytime soon. I realize that all restaurants are struggling to find support, but waiting 75 minutes to get our breakfast is too much of a wait. It is even more challenging when you have a toddler. When our food finally arrived, it wasn’t hot, the order was wrong, and part of our order was missing. We ate the order as is because we were hungry. We asked our server for additional napkins 3 times and eventually I had to go get them myself. Also, the table we were sat at shouldn’t be a table. It is very cramped in that corner and you are sitting right on top of the other table. It made it worse that we had a high chair at our table, but I had called the night before to make sure it was okay to have two adults and a high chair at our table. I told the woman who answered the phone that it would be okay if she told me no - we could go somewhere else. She was adamant that a high chair could easily fit at the table. This wasn’t the case.

   Service from the front of the house to the wait staff was excellent. My traditional eggs benedict was spot on and the portion size was just right. Home-fries were done perfectly and even the small salad on the plate was good. Everyone in our family group on Mother's Day totally enjoyed their meals. We sat upstairs and will be sitting up there for all our future reservations here.

   First time going here. Food was just ok. Our calimari app was terribly rubbery so they did remove that from the bill but food overall was ok. It’s a 25 minute drive so we don’t think we’ll return.

    Taco appetizer (special) was very good. My wife had the tortellini dish which she thoroughly enjoyed while I had the fish and chips, light batter and flaky. Dessert special was cinnamon charros with a rumchata dip- so so good.

    While we had reservations, we waited 20” to be seated. We then waited at least 20” for our server to take our order, which arrived 20-25” later. Had to chase down a kitchen helper for cutlery. Restaurant is crowded and very noisy, making it a challenge to carry a conversation. Once we finished eating, I got up yet again to flag our server w/my credit card so we could pay our tab & make our exit. This was not a relaxing Sunday brunch. No plans to return.

    The frog and turtle has fantastic food. However, we made a reservation for 9am and didn't get our food until almost 10:45. We sat first and had tables all around us get their food, eat, and leave before our food even came out. We were out of drinks and no one came until I went up to the bar. The service has gone down hill a lot here. It's too bad I family trying this place for the first time and they were not impressed by the service and time frame to get our food. Food was great however, donuts are awesome. Please step it up this is such a great place!

    Not really what we expected....Had a gift card so we gave it a try....My wife had chicken and I had Haddock....both sandwiches....they we stacked so high it was impossible to eat them....so we took them apart and ate them that way....both very dry....the french fries were very good....my gin and tonic was weak....waitress was very good....but the noise was loud....and only 2 other couples....Not really sure we will be back....sorry

    Always a joy to have dinner here. Took our grandson who just loved his burger and fries. We shared a simple dessert of ice cream and maple syrup! Life is good.

    Took 30 minutes to get water. Another 20 minutes to get a beverage. Server Logan was awful..kept putting us off saying just a minute and then we’d look over and he’d be wiping tables or doing non-urgent things when no one was waiting to be seated instead of getting us drinks or taking our order. Was completely bizarre. Luckily the food was hot and delicious. Ordered donuts to go which were pretty special. Made the whole over two hour experience much less frustrating!

    Chef James and his amazing staff bring such a high quality experience every time I go. The service is amazing, the entertainment is outstanding, and the food is simply beyond compare. Huge props to Lucas, for being the bartender extraordinaire that he is, we had such a complete evening as I have come to expect every time I step through the door. The frog and turtle is a gem and his reason alone to plan a trip to the Portland Maine area. I can’t wait for the next trip up.

    Upon arrival we were promptly seated upstairs. While we were walking up the stairs to the dining room I used the hand rail briefly and noticed that it was very sticky and not in just one spot as I needed to use it again and the same slimy sticky mess was noticed. We were seated next to the bar at a wobbly bar style tall table which was quite off putting. It was busy and no other tables were available otherwise I would have kindly asked to move. We ordered the donuts which were excellent and they came out relatively quick along with a cocktail. My guest ordered just some bacon and home fries and I ordered the Jimmy Benedict. We waited approximately an hour for our food to arrive but my Jimmy came as a Franco American? After trying to put it on other peoples tables first the waitress then came and asked me if it was mine and I clearly didn’t order that dish. She apologized and asked me if I wanted it. I was calm and just asked her for what I originally ordered. My guest ate while my order was being remade. Finally my food arrived and I was able to eat but my guest was waiting for me to receive my food and hers was ice cold by then. Her side of bacon was dangerously undercooked on one half and burnt on the other end. My Benedict was not what I aspected from this restaurant. The Jimmy comes with caramelized onions which is fine however that’s all that was under the egg with little to non existing bacon. I still left a large tip for the girl that waited on us because I didn’t want her (even though she made errors) to go without.

    Great food and atmosphere. The bar service was a bit slow but good cocktails. Would definitely go there again. I had the strip steak and a friend had the lamb special. All great. The house-made chips served with the fried haddock were great! I could eat a basket of those by themselves.

    All the food was excellent. The staff were attentive in spite of being very busy. The drinks and wine were very good. We came to hear the band playing that night and stayed until they finished because everything was so good. At the end (and in my 50 years of dining never saw this before), the owner addressed everyone by thanking the band and complimenting them highly, thanking the patrons for coming to his establishment and wishing everyone a happy Easter weekend.     After 5 visits to F/T, no more. They clearly don’t have their act together. Seated at a table with no menus or water. Other tables arriving after us received menus and water. Waited 20 mins and no server arrived, despite servers visiting tables not 3 feet away. No acknowledgment, no “be right with you.” Prior visits also included incredibly long times for appetizers, cocktails and meals to arrive. The food is just ok (we didn’t try any food last night as no one came to take the order). So many other choices around so don’t waste your time.

    The food was and always is delicious!! Unfortunately the service was unbelievably slow. There were 2 of us there for brunch and we were there for 2.5 hours. It took 10-15 min for us to be greeted and another 15-20 to be able to order food. Our server was young and sweet, maybe overwhelmed? But did not check on us, I had to flag him down any time we needed something. I know staffing is tough I was just surprised that tables around us were getting prompt attention and we weren’t. Food & atmosphere are great.

    I ordered a martini with only one drop of vermouth….there was certainly more than one drop…totally changes the flavor. The server was okay…we were there early so the noise level was fine. We both enjoyed our meal very much.

    The food was quite heavy without any subtlety. I was disappointed with the flavors. I will chose differently if I come back. The creme brûlée was great.     Birthday for 2 of our party, only one waiter, he was working hard, but despite having a reservation we waited 45 minutes to be seated, they had a special menu for st paddy’s day but not good selection, sorry, won’t be going back

    Had the special - lollipop lamb chops with lamb sausage. It knocked my socks off! Best restaurant meal I've had in years. Everyone in my group was thrilled with their dish and the wait staff was fantastic!
