メイン州ポートランドのオーナーシェフDavid Turinは、Davidをメイン州ポートランドのアート地区のふもと、モニュメント・スクエアの歴史的なロケーションに移転しました。「大火事」を逃れ、世紀末までPortland Telegram Newspaperが使用していた建物を新しく改装したレストランで、上品で創造的な内装です。オープンキッチンがあり、食の境界線を越え、地元の食材をふんだんに使い調理している様子をご覧いただけます。Davidが伝統を大切にしながら、世界の様々な素晴らしい料理から影響を受けたモダンなメニューを提供しています。 ニューヨーク・タイムズでは「これほど腕のいいキッチンは、ニューヨークの良いレストランの半分も見られない」、Portland Press Heraldでは「価格を抑えつつ、素晴らしい料理を提供する4.5つ星のレストラン」、Portland Magazineでは「大変見事な料理」と評価され、New England Travel Magazineの「ベスト・オブ・ニューイングランド2008」に選ばれました。

    Many good choices on David’s menu. I had the Tournedos, my wife crispy Duck Breast. Both were excellent

    We had a double special occasion, and David’s rose to the experience! Very good service and meal was fantastic. Thank you for hosting our party of 6! Pre-wedding and birthday dinner was excellent.

    This was our second visit to David’s in the past 6 months. Once again the food and service was top notch. The herb crusted haddock dish was delicious. And the “almost famous” meatloaf was out of this world. The drinks and dessert were well made and quite good. The service was outstanding throughout the evening as well. Can’t wait to go back again!

    The food and service were fantastic. There food selection was very good and the Pork Filet was awesome. Recommend highly.

    Watching the chefs cook at the counter was so much fun and they interacted with us which was great. The food was fabulous but the head chef was the true star for me.

    Cozy and comfortable, at a corner high top. Fish was delish! (One haddock, one salmon). Bruschetta was a yummy start. Enjoyed my white burgundy wine. Dessert (crisp) was boring and I would not choose it again. But a nice choice for a Friday night in Portland. Thanks.

    I recommended the restaurant for our group of 8, 3 of whom had never been there before. One of the newbies, who is himself, a fabulous cook, said it was the best restaurant meal that he had in years!

    Wonderful meal before attending Simon & Garfunkel Story at the Merrill Auditorium which was a short walk away. Our server Jenna was excellent, so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the bar choices. When you're in the area, this is the place to go!
