   Very good food, excellent service, owner is very eager to please. My wife always has multiple requests about how things are prepared and they always accommodate her. This past time we sat in their backyard and it was very pleasant.

   Had the happy hour at the bar and then the prix fixe dinner. A very good deal, although our next visit wil probably use the regular menu. Many interesting offerings. Will return.

   A real neighborhood gem. Delicious food, attentive service. You are treated like an old friend as soon as you go through the door. It's about a 40 minute drive to get there, but are sure to visit it at least once a month.

   The staff could not have treated us any better than they did. Very attentive without being overbearing. The food is amazing and the portions are perfect. One of my favorites is the Salmon entree. I would definitely recommend Il Sogno to all.

    FABULOUS! As a serious foodie and wine lover, this was AN EXPERIENCE for me. A new restaurant pops up in Brooklyn every other day, so to find this neighborhood gem was just what we needed. Food: ON POINT! The chop and the steaks were AMAZING! Service: Mario and Enrique truly made our evening. They were charming and kept my son smiling the entire time. He left saying, "This was the best place EVER!" Big words from someone who has been exposed to everyplace from FIVE GUYS to Daniel. They were also extremely professional and attentive, without being overbearing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND making this place your new bad habit! You will not regret it. Il Sogno Secondo, you will see us again, and again, and again.

    I wasn't pleased by the hospitality. Sunday brunch with 9 friends. We were the only ones there and we couldn't get a "hello, nice to see you, welcome etc." Upon leaving and asking for the check we received the same nonchalant attitude. I will not recommend or patronize an establishment that does not seem to value or understand hospitality.

    Our first visit to this restaurant and we will be back! Outstanding food and amazing service. Very authentic Italian food. The Veal Piccatta was excellent. As were the steaks and the pasta. Our server was very attentive. Our water glasses were always full. And our every wish was granted (including extra capers on the veal). This is a gem in the great Park Slope neighborhood. We were told their brunch is amazing too. We'll definitely be back!

    Came here for Easter dinner. Everything was excellent.. the food was delicious from start to finish. Not our first time and it has been excellent each time. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others.

    I took my parents here while they were in town visiting, and it was the absolute highlight of their trip! The service was flawless, not overbearing in the least, but just the right amount. The complimentary bite from the chef at the beginning was a nice touch, as well as the sorbet between the appetizers and dinner. I will absolutely be coming here again!

    The food was very good even if somewhat traditional. They had nice touches like small samples before dinner and lemon sorbet between courses. We loved the dining arrangements and that we could actually hear ourselves talk. I think this is a GREAT place for a quiet (and probably romantic) dinner. It was also relatively less expensive than other places in the Slope that are not as good.

    The food was really solid and fair pricing. I had the Veal Martino, cheese crusted and a lemon sauce, very classic. On the house meatball was great, with a wonderful gravy. Service was a little hap hazard and the table was very small for 2 people, I felt like I was almost knocking over my glasses. A solution would be smaller plates I think. Anyway great old school Italian spot.

    What a great find. Great ambiance, friendly service for a casual dinner experience. The occasion was a get together of 6 friends, we were greeted by the owner and the personal touch was apparent at every level throughout the evening. The place filled up quickly but the noise level was moderate, allowing our group to converse without shouting, service remained attentive all evening. The menu is quite interesting but we mostly ordered specials which were all amazing. Everything, including drinks were reasonably priced. The wine list has enough variety to accommodate any budget.     Loved the food , but it was more Italian than Peruvian. Spoke with Pedro, one of the owners and he said if we call in advance we can get more Peruvian Fusion options. Very accommodating restaurant and excellent staff and personable owners. Will definitely return for Brunch, dinner and Special occasions.

    From the atmosphere, decor and knowledgeable wait staff, it was intimate and relaxing. The background music ranged from Frank Sinatra to Ray Charles, simply on point!! The food, OMG - stuffed calamari?? Who would have thought. Simply perfection. Oh and my purple potato with my lemon drop martini., then later my ravioli and tiramisu and complimentary Lemoncello! Definitely a must go again spot! I can't wait to use the patio when the weather warms up.

    We celebrated my 70th birthday at Sogno Secondo, partly 'cuz my sweetheart lived in Park Slope in the '80's.....we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, past her old brownstone, and roundabout to Sogno....nice table, the staff went out of their way to make it special (no singing, TG)....the owner was lots of fun and we were very happy the entire night. Food is good, maybe lacks a little finesse. Thanks to everybody we met at Sogno Secondo for such a a nice evening!

    A price fixe is only worth it if the good is good, and Sogno does not disappoint. Service is friendly and professional, all the small touches (sorbet intermezzo !) are there.

    Our experience was fantastic. What a great restaurant. The food was delicious. Decor made the atmosphere very cozy. The service was some of the best I've ever had. Waiters were extremely attentive and sweet and the food came out at the perfect pacing. Would recommend this place for a date or special occasion. We went for our anniversary and the staff went well beyond the extra mile in accommodating us and adding extra treats. Thank you Il Sogno Secondo for the amazing experience!
