Love SECO & had the salmon salad, once again it was delicious. My friend really enjoyed her Thai salad. I was VERY sorry to hear that SECO will be closing, as it has become my favorite Smith Brother's restaurant. I will so miss the Chicken Paillard, my husband's favorite dish, & a favorite of mine too. Dina and Dodd have been wonderful servers, and I will miss them too, along with Jeremy. Don't go!!!!!!! Maureen & Leland Sklar

Ihave been to Seco a number of times. This visit was for a business lunch. Food and service was good. Very noisy and hard to have a conversation where everyone was heard. Overall fine but probably wouldn't go back if in similar situation.

We love going to Seco. The fresh baked bread they automatically bring is delicious. The choices are good and varied. I get the steak frites with bearnase sauce, my daughter loves the ravioli, and also the fettuccini.

Nice restaurant. Lots of patio tables, unfortunately, our party wanted to eat inside. The food was very nice, I wouldn't call it high cuisine, but still very nice. I would likely go back.

Seco is wonderful. Hard to find the home-made pasta items they have on the menu anywhere else. The short-rib was great, so was the ravioli. Validated parking in Pasadena is rare and awesome. Makes it far less hassle to go there than most any other place in the city.

We wanted burgers and the oak wood grilled burgers at Seco are the best! Juice and flavorful with great toasted buns and condiments. Fries with lime juice and great drinks/good bar. Our server "Dodd" was excellent - friendly and helpful, timely and flexible. Really great overall experience. Consistent each time we go there.

Fantastic place to eat. Family went there to celebrate my son's graduation. Our server Dobb was so attentive and caring. It made it all worthed. The food was amazing of course. Totally recommending this place. :)

I really enjoyed our food and the service on that date, unfortunately I did not get the name of the wonderful wait staff person, it was a lady, and it was at 12 and we sat outside. The bread was awesome, the chicken veggie soup was scrumptious. The swordfish was prepared to perfection.

This was a great place to meet our friends for dinner. Food was excellent. Cocktails also great. Service merely "ok." The environment & decor at the restaurant didn't match the meal - we weren't sure why there was a TV on in the corner - is this a sports bar? It was an unnecessary distraction. This restaurant has a lot of potential but has made some odd choices.

Dissapointing. The menu was more limited (and expensive) than I remember, and my friend and I had a hard time finding entrees that looked interesting, althoughI do love the Kale salad appetizer. The people at the table next to us were both having the Fusilli Short Rib pasta dish (that we were thinking of having) and we asked them how it was. They both agreed that it was mediocre and not very flavorful. They said that they used to come all the time, but that it's becoming more disappointing each time and that they wouldn't be back after this. So my friend and I decided to leave and go somewhere else. The staff were very gracious about this.

Place was not busy but waitress seemed anxious to turn our table. No one at our table finished their meal. You show know if you ask for chicken added to your salad it means a side dish of chicken which was dry and tasteless and not added to the salad.

When I lived in Pasadena this was one of my favorite restaurants, and it still is. I had two wonderful dishes and am going back next week for the very same things. The kale salad--finely chopped, with apples, mint and jalapeños (makes it a bit spicy) and the sashimi flatbread--wow! I had never had this before and, in spite of eating their wonderful homemade bread before I had my dinner, I at the entire pizza. Large restaurant, outside seating (even a place if you bring your dog), busy/fun bar and the perfect-size menu.

We enjoyed a light dinner and the outdoor seating on a warm Saturday night. We were happy to procure a reservation very easily. Our server was overbooked and had too many tables so our service was slow and inconsistent.

Very accommodating staff. Pleasant ambiance. Bread loaves served before meal were excellent... the one thing that made it seem "Americana" All of the dinners were okay, but not stand-outs. The fish in my fish tacos seemed undercooked The pizza was exceptionally cheesy and rich. On an occasion like Mother's Day, however, the concentration tends to be on an exchange of cards and gifts, not on food. We should give it another try.

The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing I will definitely be visiting more often. We sat in the outdoor balcony area and I loved it. Our waiter was amazing. The kale salad was delicious. Their aioli sauce with truffle oil was delicious with French fries

I have dined at Seco five or six times. The food is always excellent and the service quite good. In the past I have selected wine from the list but this time I brought my own for a $20 corkage fee. I recommend the Oaxaca Stinger cocktail highly.

SECO would benefit with the removal of the TV screens. It's not a bar, and certainly not a Sports Bar, so I find the large TV's and their sound, quite annoying! The service is always great, and we like their food too.....just NOT the TV's.....
