   Fogo is usually my favorite Brazilian steakhouse. I usually go to the Addison location where the service is impeccable but went to McKinney site yesterday. Had to request fresh plate, side dishes, etc. Those bringing meats were wonderful but the two women attending the table weren’t attentive at all. It even took forever to find a parking valet. Not a great experience at all

   This is has been my family’s go to for holidays! Yesterday’s experience for Mothers Day may be our last! We had a 645p reservation that was not seated until 730, no problem at all we get it’s a busy holiday! We are then seated, eventually greeted and requested the full experience, per usual we go to the salad bar get back to the table coin on green ready to enjoy an experience we’ve come accustomed to! Not sure if they were short on Gauchos or what the deal was but we were offered chicken legs, thighs, bacon wrapped chicken and even Pork? Ok I get all these items are in rotation but WHERE IS THE BEEF? Eventually a scrap of under cooked rubbery garlic steak makes the round! An assistant manager(I assume) makes a table touch in which we express our disappointment in the evenings offerings up to that point, she apologizes and states she’d make sure we got what we wanted! After yet another rotation of chicken makes the rounds, I get up and find the manager and tell her I’d simply like to forgo the full experience as I’d not likely be satisfied with the result as such id like a well done Tomahawk and would gladly pay for the salad bar which we had already begin with. She said sure no problem, to only come back to the table saying “the manager” stated that the tomahawk would take a long time(surely there’s a standard of temp and time of any cut they sell but let’s not go down that rabbit hole a decent estimate of time would’ve been fine) and that they’d rather get us some cuts out to the table from the full experience? At which point we got up and offered to pay for the salad bar but that this would end our dining experience for the night! She covered the cost of the salad bar but clearer communication would’ve saved the guest experience! As much as we enjoy them, they are not the only Brazilian steakhouse game in town!

   Took my mom here for Mother’s Day. She absolutely loved it. It was our first time here and neither one of us can’t stop talking about the experience and food. We can’t wait to go back!

   Looks like they had a new service crew. From the people making sure your drunks are topped off to the gauchos they all looked new and you can tell. Had to ask for a drink refill. Never asked if I wanted a new plate and clearly I needed one. The gauchos had no clue about meat temperature. Asked several times for medium and 9/10 we were served medium well/well done cuts. When serving bacon wrapped chicken and beef my wife was not given the opportunity to answer and was just given both meats. The new crew needs a lot more training

   Our experience at Fogo was incredibly disappointing. Despite having a reservation, we weren’t seated until over an hour later, with a chaotic line stretching nearly out the door. We didn’t get to start eating until after 9pm at night. The hostess was rude and dismissive, telling guests their wait time was “I don’t know. Like 2 hours.” Once seated, the food didn’t make up for the wait—most of the meat was dry and overcooked. The only bright spot was Daniel, who wasn’t even our main server but stepped in to refill drinks and bring what we needed since our actual waiter barely checked on us.

   Subject: Disappointing Experience During Our Mother’s Day Visit To Whom It May Concern, I’ve dined at other Brazilian steakhouses in the past, and my group regularly attends our annual Christmas party at Texas de Brazil. Based on those experiences, we chose to celebrate Mother’s Day at your restaurant, arriving at 5:00 PM for our 5:15 PM reservation. Our party of seven was seated promptly, which, unfortunately, ended up being the highlight of the evening. The service, particularly regarding the protein selection, was very disappointing. Multiple servers passed by without offering anything to our table, and I had to repeatedly ask for service. We were even given the wrong service token/card, which likely contributed to the lack of attention we received. Overall, the experience felt disorganized. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unprepared, which greatly affected our enjoyment of what should have been a special occasion. For the price, we expected a far better experience. In fact, we could have received more attentive service and better value at places like Texas Roadhouse or Saltgrass for a third of the cost.     I made reservations for lunch for four people. When we arrived we asked if there was outdoor seating available, and the hostess said there was and told us to give her a minute to set up a table, which was fine with our party. Our server came to greet us and take our drink orders and we waited for the meat to be brought around. Our drinks arrived, we had made our way to salad bar and came back and still no gaucho came with any cuts of meat. 20 minutes have passed at this point and we made it a point to our server that we had been waiting outside on the patio and no one came by with any meat. He insisted that he had someone coming outside but no had. Finally, we had someone come out to the patio with meat we each had one slice. Another 15 min pass before someone else comes out with chicken thighs. Then no one else again for another 20 min. Eventually we had to speak with the manager who kindly comped our meals but we did not get a chance to try any of the top cuts of beef as they simply weren’t presented to us. Very disappointing experience overall.
