   I very much enjoyed my time at Harvest! I was delighted that my friend and I had a quiet corner to chat, since we hadn’t seen each other for ten years. The food was excellent, as was the dessert. Harvest is one of my favorite restaurants, where I like to go with my out of town guests. I will be back.

   Food and service were very good. Only concern was handling of wife’s onion allergy, which we had informed the restaurant in advance. Maybe 30 minutes after we ordered and had been assured that my wife’s order would be onion family-free, we were told that shrimp was marinated in onions and clearly couldn’t be part of wife’s order. A substitution was made and the dish was delicious, but it delayed our dinner by at least 30 minutes.

   Very nice. For once the deserts were iffy. Green almonds??? Pea tendrils were odd but worked. Green strawberries were horrid. But because the deserts are of many pieces we just left these on the plates

   We reserved a table for 5:30, to avoid the crowds. It was a relaxing, elegant, delicious birthday dinner. Peter was a marvelous server--friendly, professional, knowledgeable. We'll be back! One suggestion: the menu needs more vegetarian/vegan entrees.

   Wonderful place we have been to many times over the years. Always consistently excellent food and beautiful presentation. The ambience surpasses all other Cambridge restaurant in my opinion. If only there was a more welcoming vibe for vegetarians.

   In a rapidly changing world, it's lovely to find that some places haven't. The Harvest has maintained both the quality of the food and the overall experience since we started going there when they opened. A long time ago! This was lunch on the patio. Jacob, or terrific server, moved us to a sunny spot at our request and was attentive and pleasant throughout. Savenor's hamburgers! We hadn't had anyone's for many months and decided to go for the best there are. A tiny quibble, the excellent fries were a little salty. I opted for salad instead, which was a fresh frisee, perfect for the start of summer overall!!

   Food was really good and interesting. Not the same five dishes that every trendy restaurant does. The one disappointing thing was the wine but everything else was great. Have the cheesecake …so good

    Sat us in the non-patio area; stuffy and hot. Walk through the kitchen area to our seats. Food was fine but not very creative. Service was excellent.

    The server, an older man with teeth missing who had stated he worked there for 30 years, was slow and disappointingly non attentive. A $400 grad dinner sub value with two steaks raw when orders med rare was disappointing all around. A local friends recommended you and I will be sure to inform them. Will not recommend you in the future.

    I've been dining at Harvest for almost forty years. The food in recent years has been disappointing time after time. I won't be going back. It's a shame, because it remains such a lovely place.

    I will always love the Harvest, but the dining experience and value this time, seemed to be a bit lacking based on past experience. The food portions seem smaller than ever and were just ok, where I expected outstanding.

    We normally love harvest, and have been coming here for several years. First off, I will say that the server was excellent, and was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. I have no complaints over the service provided by our server and by the hostess. The issue was more behind the scenes with the food. Perhaps it is because it was Mother’s Day, although our reservation is at 2:45 and many tables have emptied out at that point. The main issue was my spouse’s meal: the filet mignon, which was delivered with the other 3 entrees for the table. The filet mignon she ordered rare to med rare, was served very well done and very dry (oddly it was a very thin cut for a filet). The server was responsive returned it promptly and eventually delivered a corrected version. By the time she received the new filet, our table had already finished their meals. The new one they delivered was medium to medium well (not rare-med rare), but was still an improvement. The Bibb salad my wife ordered was not up to harvest standards. I think it was more than just the preparation and the heaviness, but the fact that it contained what appeared to be sliced deli ham and no percorino cheese or tomatoes (as stated on the menu). The last the last issue was with dessert. Again, my spouse loses out. She ordered the blueberry lavender sorbet. The desserts took a while to arrive, and when a person (other than our waiter) placed them on the table, he instructed my wife that you were out of blueberry lavender sorbet so they substituted strawberry. No mention of this earlier or an attempt by the staff to see if she wanted to order a different dessert. My wife has an allergic ( non life threatening) reaction to strawberries so wasn’t able to enjoy her dessert with us either. I had a taste of the last minute substitute sorbet, and tbh… It was frosty, and did not taste like a fresh sorbet. This was a disappointing on many friends but esp on Mother’s Day as we were there to celebrate my wife. :(

    Hosted a small business dinner for out of town guests and they all loved the menu options, ambiance, and convenient walking distance from our conference space. The staff was lovely and very easy to coordinate the reservation and payment with in advance.

    This was our second visit to Harvest, both for Brunch. It again was fabulous. The ambiance, service and food were all outstanding. The next time we are in Cambridge (our son lives there) we want to try it for dinner.

    The food was terrific. We had venison carpaccio, beet root salad, early spring strawberries and scallops - each dish deployed ingredients in unusual combinations, but not weird, or they're just for shock value. Just interesting and good. The kitchen really knows what it's doing. For dessert, I recommend the blueberry-lemon sorbet. We were there on a Tuesday night so it wasn't overcrowded and the noise level wasn't bad. I can't speak about noise on other nights. It is pricey, but for our anniversary, it was a good choice.

    I was excited to try Harvest for my husband’s birthday dinner and it was a very meh experience from start to finish. The hostess was cold. The waiter was inattentive and slow. My entree arrived lukewarm. The cocktails were well made. We weren’t impressed enough to order dessert.

    The service is very friendly! I started in the bar with a bourbon-based pear drink, and it was expensive, but worth it! For dinner I enjoyed the parsley-based pesto, pasta with duck bacon. The bites with bacon were very salty, but the pasta was cooked perfectly and overall I enjoyed the dish. I would recommend this restaurant it was lovely.

    Amazing food as always. Went for my birthday brunch with a few friends. The chef was sweet enough to make a custom dessert because they ran out ingredients for my original order. We have now had brunch, lunch and dinner. Will continue to go back!
