Surprised to see it so quiet for a Friday night but it was better for us. Great food and friendly service. Hostess could have used some smile lessons lol.
Service is very slow
Food was good, service was good. Liver & Unions were really good
The service was great and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. Everything was served quickly and correctly.
service was poor. kitchen was slow getting our food out. half our table without their entree for 10 minutes while the others reluctantly ate.
Nice touch with dessert for my colleague
Horrible food and service. Our waiter barely came to our table. Food was bad, avocado wasn't ripe. I used to love this place, I am not sure what happened with food and quality.
It was a quiet holiday Monday evening. I came here with a friend to celebrate her birthday. I ordered their special cocktail and my friend had a glass of wine. While she enjoyed her wine, my drink was mostly watered down with ice so it had a very little flavor. The salad we ordered was ordered as an appetizer and it was just okay. For a main meal, my friend ordered spaghetti with meatball which she finished happily. I ordered steak dish. Even though i requested medium, one side was completely well done and only the end part was cooked medium. Needless to say, I did not enjoy the meal at all but my friend did.
I would not recommend this restaurant.
Another visit another very enjoyable lunch. Service was a bit slow this time but the food excellent as usual.
Such a wonderful restaurant. Always consistent with the quality of food and service.
Great food; wonderful service! Will definitely return again!
I have lunch often at this restaurant.
It’s a great place for some shopping and lunch with girlfriends.
2 entrees had little flavour. Fish was dry. Would not return.
This wasn't our best experience. The service was ok. Nothing special. My husband ordered a Ceasar Drink in a Large glass, like a Coke glass and they brought this little skinny glass, but asked very quickly if he wanted another. He ordered the Tuna Nis...salad. It was a main course but was so small, looked like an appetizer portion. He was not happy. One of the men ordered a Diet Coke, he asked 3 times before it came. As I said, not our best experience.
Steak on fries doesn’t work.
We went because we had a gift card.
I guess we were expecting a bit higher food quality.
Our dinner was on the final evening of Summerlicious. While our starters and desserts were excellent, the mains did not reach their potential; possibly because they were missing several ingredients that were listed on the menu. Service was a bit haphazard and one cocktail tasted of coloured water with no flavour. Despite these disappointments, we will likely return, as the menus are usually creative and the food properly cooked.
I come here quite often when shopping at Bayview Village but this was the first time I made a reservation for lunch.
We usually get excellent service from start to finish except this time the hostess at the desk seemed to be a bit miserable which definitely changed our mood.
We decided to order the summerlicious menu which was ok.
Having hot salmon with cold orzo salad was a bit off putting but overall it was an ok menu.
Part of Summerlicious so busy for sure. Food selection awesome. Accompanying drinks were a nice selection. Really liked that coming on a pre-fixe menu didn't limit what you could have and what they offered was very good.
I went back for the summerlicious menu as the first time about a week prior was excellent. Unfortunately, the same salad cans out drenched in spicy dressing and my serving had half the portion of grilled jerk chicken compared to my friend’s. It was disappointing. Hoping for more consistency next year.
Good value and attentive service from all servers. Decent pricing for Summerlicious menu.
Service was excellent! Enjoyable experience! Food was good!
I love the relaxed feel of this place. I have been here several times and definitely would return. This time around we came to try their Summerlicious menu. Usually they have great selection of appetizers. This time around the appetizers on the Summerlisious list were not impressive. Unusual fusion combinations like Beef brisket bulgogi was a lot of fun to try. It was too salty though. In short - interesting and attractive menu, but the actual dishes were so so. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines on the Summerlisious list were affordable. I am sure the Summerlisious menu generated some more traffic for the restaurant. We will come back for the dishes on the full menu.
We had dinner during Summerlicious. Great value for the fixed price menu. Food was delicious and very well presented. Our waiter was very attentive and assisted by a number of wait staff. A very enjoyable dining experience.
The jerk chicken was very spicy which was not mentioned in the menu nor by attendant.
It was really nice dining expirence. The food is good, server is really helpful. Everything is perfect. Just wait little long to get our bills but it is understandable that they are really busy on weekend. Nice try for our last station for Summerlicious 2019.
Very reasonable portion for Summerlicious menu comparing to some other restaurants.
Friendly Staffs, Tasty Food
I was truly disappointed in the food, example the tarot totes were honesty as if they were McCain frozen and cooked nothing tasteful, and my brisket was really awful and hard to even cut I needed to ask for a steak knife. We were brought out soup without spoons our pitcher of sangria without any glasses to go along. Just overall a large d disappointment especially when you bring your friend for their birthday
Very enjoyable, food was good and the service was friendly and efficient. It was quite noisy and that made it hard to hear my dinner companions.
The app was cold and the meat in the main course was tough. The dessert was OK.
The food was very good and a good price based on the summerlicious event. However, I'm not sure if I would pay regular price for the same meal at this restaurant. Definitely worth taking advantage of summerlicious and winterlicious prices though. Service was good, we had a very friendly and fairly attentive waitress who did a good job considering the number of people dining and how busy it was at the time of our visit.
I was there during summerlicious and expected something fancy - as some of their other restaurants are pretty fancy- both the food and experience. But it was quite ordinary. That is why they probably call it Cafe.
In general, everything was what I expected at O&B. The waiters and waitresses are always tentative. This time for the Summerlicious 2019 lunch menu, I have to say it's only average to my liking. The salmon was a bit over done. As with the bulgogi brisket noodle, it's a bit too sweet. Also, the noodles were broken into little pieces. Even chopsticks were provided, it's hard to pick them up. I ended up asking for a spoon. However, the brisket texture was perfect. The berry pudding was very soggy. The Haagen-Dazs ice cream was good. We were there to celebrate a birthday, however, the waitress didn't ask who's birthday and just randomly put a candle onto 1 of the dessert. Perhaps it was the Summerlicious, the restaurant was packed for a Friday lunch. The noise level was higher than usual.
We had a very good time at O&B but it was so noisy that we had a hard time making ourselves heard. The food was good. The server was delightful. Only the noise level made a dent in the event.
The Tabdoori Haddock was weak. I regretted eating it. Everything else was Fantastic. Staff friendly and helpful. I won’t recommend the Tamdoori Haddock dish though.
I had the empanadas, brisket and ice cream sumerlicious menu selection. The empanadas were very good but the brisket was dry and not very good. I don't think it was worth the price. Sadly this is my second time being disappointed at O & B at Bayview Village. Probably not going to return when there are so many other options.
The service was really good. Our server Drew was attentive, knowledgeable & friendly. The staff at the door were helpful & we were at our table just a few moments after our reserved time of 1pm.
A very enjoyable experience. Lunch with a good friend and lovely food well presented.
The food and beverage was amazing! the waiting time was reasonable and the customer service and table service was fantastic!
Wish to visit our anniversary again!
