The evening begins with Blue Crab Corn Croquette & Pastrami Canape paired with a Maker's Mark cocktail, followed by Shrimp Udon Noodle Soup paired with Suntory Whisky Toki, Braised Lamb Shank paired with Basil Hayden's Rye Boulevardier, and ends with a Salted Caramel Peanut Butter Pie paired with Legent Bourbon Whiskey. Matt Jannotta, will join us to discuss the pairings. Dinner begins at 6:30pm, please arrive at least 15 min early to check in. At the time of checkout, we appreciate it if you pre-select the gratuity for your service staff that evening to facilitate the check-in process. We were not greeted by the valet male. My mother spoke and tried to open the door with her cane and he just looked at her. He never spoke back or helped his elderly handicap open the door. We waited about 10 min.and a guy stated our waiter was the bartender, although we were not near the bar and took our appetizer order. I watched another waiter CATER and check in the table in front of a total of 12xs in 1 hr. ! He was Latino and waited on 2 tables both Caucasian every other 7 min.even kept bringing them water. After 16 min.The bartender/waiter Nick came over, didn't try to explain the menu, hurried us when my Mom asked questions. My potatoes came out cold and Nick stated Well I can get u mashed potatoes."I stated, "No, I'd like the same just hot these are cold, he never came back to check on us except for the dessert and drop the check off. Everything was primarily done by the bus boy. Not 1x did he ask how was everything going, did we enjoy anything and I felt he was a little prejudice! I watched both Nick and the other Latino waiter with the mustache cater to all Caucasian tables and neglect me and my cancer handicap Mom. I saw two manager walk pass and never asked anything or even say,"Hi". What was very insulting was 1 of the manager that had walked passed came up to our table like 3 minutes after Nick dropped the bill at the table and ask if we were ready to pay the bill! We hadn't even received the cheesecake to go we order! I told him, "No, I'll let you know when I'm ready to pay. "He replied, That's fine let us know! I've been coming here 27yrs.never experienced such negligence or racism. I took my check to the bar, no have a goodnight nothing from staff. I just had a birthday dinner there in January. This concludes my dining and all my 36 friends from my job where we work at the hospital. There was no reason to treat me and my Mom like that. The restaurant was freezing but to bring my Mom here and in her condition to be treated rudely was low.

Food was good and so was the service. I did have to wait on table service a little bit however outside that the waiter was very informative & enjoyable. I had the pot roast which was very tasty but slightly tougher than expected. This was my biggest complaint. Still recommendable just had a few bumps in service.

We went for a special occasion as Wildfire has always been very good and consistent. There were several issues in the kitchen. Food came out cold and had to be sent back. Ordered a Porterhouse Steak it was poorly butchered asked for medium and came out well. Sent the steak back and waited while the sides got cold and no accommodation for reheating the sides. Plates were cleared and food was left on the table it was messy. Restaurant was not crowded so really don't understand why the meals was so bad. Really disappointed we were trying to celebrate. Spent a lot of money on subpar food and service.

We had a great experience here. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and so glad we chose Wildfire. The ribeye Delmanico special was amazing as was the medallion trio. Our waitress was very friendly and gave great food recommendations.

Over all experience was pretty good. We had a 6:00 reservation on a Friday night and it wasn't busy until a little later. Service started out a little slow, it took about 10 minutes for our waiter to take our drink order. My soup wasn't very hot but it tasted great. I had a glazed ribeye that was on special - also tasted great and was cooked perfectly, but it was a very thin steak.

It was a very “meh” experience… and for the cost, I simply expected more. The calamari rings were tender, but the tentacles were chewy. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger from the kids menu and it was overcooked (asked for medium, it came well). I ordered a medium rare New York strip and it was overcooked and honestly, flavorless. I also had a crab cake, which was good but that felt like it could have used another minute or two the get a nice crust on it. It was definitely all crabmeat and little filler, so that was good. My mom’s New York strip was also overcooked (ordered medium and was definitely medium well). Her baked potato needed to roast a bit longer… so all in all, timing just wasn’t there… and it was a 5:30 reservation, so wasn’t very busy as an excuse for the kitchen.

The food and drinks for the Thanksgiving Diner were outstanding! The menu was family style, and everything was delicious. They were very accommodating in regards to my mother being gluten-free! It was very busy, and as such it was a bit noisy, but we were in no rush. Our server Candace was an absolute sweetheart. I appreciated where we were seated (a booth on the boarder of the main dinning room, so we were able to see a lot but it felt semi private). Though we did not use it, there was valet available. There was also complimentary coat check, which we did use!

We visited on Thanksgiving. Overall, the service and ambiance was stellar. The food was just OK. However the best part of the evening is that I didn't have to cook!! I would return to the restaurant on another night to see how the menu differs on a non-holiday. I would absolutely come back for drinks!!

This is our new tradition. So much food ( and leftovers!). I forgot who our server was but she was amazing, checked on us constantly and was just so kinds and patient. We were sat immediately and food was instantly in front of us. Thank you thank you!

Had a delicious Thanksgiving holiday dinner, with portions that were quite generous. Also, Wildfire is one of the only restaurants to offer white and dark meat turkey! Our waiter provided excellent service and never rushed us, letting us enjoy food and conversation. I've been to Wildfire several times throughout the year, and the food and service has been consistently good. Love their roast beef, too!

Service was ok….but definitely not the same when it is not on a major holiday, like Thanksgiving. Our server was nice, but not as attentive as needed. We had to always grab his attention. It was probably very hectic for the servers on that day. The food was good…my only complaint - the “stuffing” was way too mushy. Loved the cranberry sauce—I tasted the cherries, which was a nice touch. The salmon was De-Lish! The two salads chosen- Wildorf and the Wildfire Chopped—- were big hits at my table. The sides were ok and the desserts - key lime and chocolate cake- were delicious. Overall though, the dinner was definitely not exactly worth the price, only because we did not keep asking for more. We basically had one serving of each food item. I really enjoyed Wildfire, but not for a holiday dinner served family style.

Our waitress Sophie was absolutely amazing. The timing of the dishes enabled us to actually take time an revel in the luxurious food we were eating. Speaking of the food, we were there for thanksgiving and ever bite we took was more fulfilling and better than the archetype of that dish. The steak was fit for the Goddess. The potatoes tasted like they were grown in her garden and were the template for all the potatoes ever grown. Every mouth full of food and every sip of wine was the nectar of the gods. It sincerely was the best thanksgiving I have ever experienced and the two hours we spent there rank in the top hours of my 55 year life.

Wow. Great steak! Great service! There are quite a few places in downtown Chicago that do the steak thing and Wildfire did not disappoint. IMO they do not skimp on the quality of their meats. They were cooked perfectly. Give them a try.

We had a great experience. Our server "IVY" went above and beyond to ensure everyone was satisfied. We had an issue with one of the steaks that was ordered well done. She received it medium rare. It was sent back and when it was returned, our server IVY still wasn't happy with the level the steak was cooked. She took it upon herself to contact the manager and share her displeasure with the cooks. The manager came over and ensured everything was handled properly. Hats off to the service side, great experience will definitely come back.

I went to this restaurant once before and it was great. However, this time when I went, I was mot impressed at all. First, the host forgot thst he told us to sit at a near by table until they were ready for us. Second, once we did get sat, it took a while for someone to even bring us water let alone the rest of the meal, once we finally ordered, the food was not as good this time. Unfortunately, I won’t be back because the food is too expensive to not enjoy every single time you go.

Wildfire was a classic old school Chicago dining experience. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The drink were also incredible. There isn't anything particularly unique about Wildfire compared to other steakhouses, but you can always count on a great meal there and a great ambiance.
