    We invite you to a Night in Amalfi on the final evening of 2023. Join us for a menu inspired by the Italian coastal region featuring fresh house made pastas, delicious seafood dishes, decadent desserts and our own house made Limoncello. We will offer an extensive offering of imported Italian wines and there will be an opportunity to experience our "Prosecco Cart" and taste through sparkling wines from Italy. $148/person includes a four course tasting menu and a glass of limoncello. All other beverages, tax and gratuity are additional. Menu available on our website. A kid's menu will be available until 6:45pm only. After 7pm this will be the only menu available.

    Trummer's inside is beautiful. It seemed busy or they did not have enough servers as it took us 15 minutes to get water and 30 minutes to get our drink once we were sat down. They sold out of the only vegetarian main course which limited what i could eat. Also they espresso machine was broken. Seemed like everything i was interested in was out or broken. The manager did come by our table, without our request to inquire about not ordering a main course and after explaining i was vegetarian he said the kitchen could have made me something. While this was a nice touch it was at the end of the dinner, and both my husband and I were kind of over it. Nice place but i won't be coming back.

    Best Trummer’s experience ever! The food was incredible and the service was, too. Travis, the Assistant GM, always makes sure everything is absolutely incredible and perfect! When we get our rare opportunity to go out on a date night (and get a babysitter), this is our top pick.

    Trummer's has been serving Clifton and the neighboring area since 2009. We have NEVER had a menu selection we didn't love. The chef is very inventive and Trummer's has menu items not available elsewhere. For a romantic dinner or special occaision, give Trummer's a try.

    Everything was just fine however they had no relief for our waitress. She had the entire floor hence service was very slow. Not her fault but one can’t run 10 tables and expect to deliver top service.

    Trummers is a local favorite. Great staff! Owners are hands on. Plenty of free parking. 1st floor bar is a classic. Some outdoor seating when weather permits. More dining upstairs,with an elevator. So much space! This place is perfect for parties and wedding events. Do Explore charming Clifton, Va! I love the trains that run through occasionally. I saw Santa here on December 2, 2023! Special brunch event. 🎅

    Trummers does not disappoint! My son brought me here for my birthday dinner. The food was delicious. The service was top notch and the ambience was welcoming and upscale. This is not our first or last time we will dine at Trummers.

    Terrible service!! Server was no where to be found majority of the time we were there. It was early and only 3 tables with people so it wasn’t like he was busy with other tables. We served ourselves water multiple times since he was inattentive. He never checked on how our food was to our liking.

    Very disappointed. We arrived at five and seated in the main dining room, while we waited…for anyone! The dining room had the pervasive smell of mildew (we all noticed the odor immediately). When we were finally approached and asked about the odor, the server or maybe a manager disavowed any hint of an odor. We were moved to the secondary dining room, with no ambiance. At some point one of the owners stopped at our table to ask about dinner. I asked her about the odor and she, too had no idea of any smell! WOW!

    Quite nice Thanksgiving meal. The food was delicious and plentiful. The top floor did lack ambiance, which is a shame, as the first floor is lovely.

    We made a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner and are so glad we did! Everything was the same for everyone, but we could choose the main entree among 4 options. We loved everything! I don't even like turkey normally, but this was moist and flavorful with amazing Gravy. JR was our waiter and was bust, but very attentive. Best decision was to go to Trummers and not cook at home.

    The food was mostly very good, but my husband's entree was unacceptable and he sent it back. It was replaced very quickly and was perfect. The server apologized.

    The service was great and the food was wonderful. It was our first time at this restaurant and will go again when the next special occasion comes up. A beautiful setting and even has an elevator!

    Tried the Thanksgiving menu. Ordered the turkey and whole branzino. Would have expected the fish skin to be crispy. The pretzel stuffing and mashed sweet potatoes were very good.

    Service was slow and not attentive with the exception of the wine/beer steward. We sat with empty dishes in front of us after each course and had to ask for our dinner dishes to be cleared. Three from our table ordered prime rib and after being served their entrees, had to flag down the server to ask for steak knives as well as the accompanying au jus sauce. Also had to ask for coffee and dessert menus. Food was overpriced and nothing special. For example, Boursin Cavatelli was some pasta with a thin sauce - little meat.

    We love Trummers but this last visit was below our expectations as the restaurant had several inexperienced servers on the floor. Food was good but now we are paying for bread ala carte was a bit of a surprise. He cornbread was excellent but it should have been a complimentary part of the meal.

    Had high expectations for Trummers. It was my first time there and my anniversary and not once did anyone mention it while we were there (made a reservation stating it was my anniversary). We sat and Colven greeted us immediately after. Asked what we wanted for drinks but didn’t take the time to discuss the menu, or ask if we’ve been there before. Made us feel like he was getting through our service as quickly as possible. The food came, and it was so so. Tartare was good and so was the cavatelli but everything else was meh especially for the price point. I asked if they did anything specially for anniversaries and Colven responded by saying “I mean yeah we write “happy anniversary” on the dessert of the day…. then i had to ASK him to bring that our for us and he said “um yeah sure”… All in all, our anniversary dinner was not as special as we’d had hoped and wish we stuck to our usual (trattoria) up the block.

    From starting at the bar, to finishing our dessert at our nice table in the main, spacious dining room, all of our expectations were exceeded! The wait staff and food were excellent. Definitely a great find and a new “go to” spot for us from now on!

    This whole experience was amazing. The food was excellent, it was a tad cold but I'm always cold so that's neither here nor there. I had a very nice time and we didn't mind the bill because it was worth every penny.

    We had a lovely evening. The food was amazing, and the ambiance was very nice. While the restaurant was crowded, the noise level was just right. Quiet enough we were able to converse over dinner. And our server was fantastic.

    One of the best meals that I have had this year. Trummers always delivers - one of the best restaurants in Northern Virginia and incredible food for its value. only slight negative is wine list is probably too overpriced. Big mark up on some bottles.

    For an 8pm reservation, we weren’t seated until 8:25p, negating the concept of even having a reservation. After seating it was another 10 minutes before staff came by to even ask about drinks. Clearly there were staffing and overall coordinating issues this night. For the price point, I was disappointed overall vs previous visits. Honor reservations properly and I will increase my rating.

    The food was absolutely delicious! Perfectly sized portions, not small at all but not huge either. The desserts were also incredible. Super flavorful and perfect for a special occasion. The service was also impeccable. PS the Titanic cocktail is phenomenal and super creative.

    My friend and I dined at Trummer’s last night and the whole team went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. A true gem of a restaurant.
