From the OpenTable editors: This French fine-dining icon has dazzled Vancouverites since 1983. Legendary chef Michel Jacob passed the torch to his friend and Iron Chef America winner Rob Feenie in 2024, and Feenie still celebrates the restaurant's French origins while incorporating some of his West Coast roots. Expect Dover sole deboned tableside in an herb beurre blanc, steak tartare, and other classics served in an elegant white tablecloth dining room.

We have a lovely dinner, food and service are superb, just that the food takes a bit of time to arrive, all in all we enjoyed and have a wonderful evening. Definitely will return and will happily share the info with friends. Thank you for the outstanding experience.

Nous avons visité le restaurant Le Crocodile le 3 juillet 2025. Nous étions quatre et avons pris le menu dégustation avec l’accord des vins. Nous avons été épatés par la nourriture fine et goûteuse et par l’accord des vins! La facture de moins de 500$ par couple était raisonnable étant donné la qualité en comparaison avec certains restaurants de Montréal où la facture se monte à presque le double. Le chef est venu nous voir à quelques reprises et il y avait bonne quantité de serveurs et un sommelier exceptionnel. Nous avons été séduits de notre soupe au restaurant Le Crocodile !! Nous recommandons vivement!

The only reason the noise level may have been up a bit is that everyone were enjoying each other’s company. Great place!

We loved every piece of food - complements to chef. Pair wine was great as well and very nice and experienced sommelier. What was not ok that when we made reservation , I mentioned it was my husband birthday and I wish a candle on his dessert (which of course never happened) , I also mentioned my husband shellfish allergies and we got served oysters at their tasting menu. I wish staff that work there actually reads comments of people making reservations online . But restaurant is very beautiful and food is amazing.

This might be my new favorite restaurant in Vancouver — for a special treat. Great service, delicious food with local sources, and a nice intimate room. Highly recommend.
