   Our food was excellent as was the server. Sat in the new patio room with the awning windows open and it was delightful

   My original rating was one star higher, but after receiving emails to elaborate on quality of service and food and why I gave low rating, I came to realize that two stars maybe too high. We go to a lot of different restaurants over many years , and there are some amazing places with very high quality of food and of great service. Unfortunately that is not the case of this restaurant. Our server was trying to hard, maybe just started in this business, stating obvious things like, this is water in the glass ( forgot to mansion it is wet) , and glasses where dirty with finger prints . After waiting for a while we got our food. For a place that specializes in bbq, ribs where hard and undercooked more like rubber, no one asked us if this is ok. We took it to go, our dog didn’t like it . As far as suggestions go, I would strongly recommend for management to compare to other BBQ restaurants for quality and taste. Lastly try to keep your bathrooms clean, it was very bad smell like no one came to clean it. PS. This should be one star review, for now two is planty. Please try to understand scoring from 1 to 5 is only personal opinion, 3, 4 or 5 stars are reserved for much better players in this business. Update: If you can’t take criticism, then please change profession. Looks like this place is run by vary angry people. No wonder there is so many bad reviews on Yelp

   We’ve been enjoying Carson’s ribs for decades. The quality of their food, the assortment offered are as good now as 40 years ago. We took our grandchildren and their mother for Mother’s Day. They all ordered steaks or fillet, and enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed my ribs. The coleslaw is a signature treat.

   We had a wonderful who was very friendly, attentive, and professional. Our entrees and drinks were delicious and well prepared. The side dishes, although good, were not up to the same standards as the entrees.

   Mother's Day and you have to expect a limited menu and a packed house. That said, as Carson's regular patrons, we were pleased with the late lunch/early dinner. Disappointed that the grilled chicken wings weren't on the appetizer menu, but I will get over it (eventually). All-in-all, a pleasant to very good outing. Grecian chicken and shrimp were terrific, as usual.

Regarding the grilled mediterranean wings and not finding them on appetizer menu (because they are so delicious-we love them too!). As noted, it was an exceptionally busy day, and to ensure smooth service with a full restaurant some dishes which require more preparation time and grill space weren’t available.    Had an amazing Mother’s Day lunch. All of the food was delicious! Our waitress Jessica was outstanding. Fantastic service and conversation. We’ll be back soon!

    Carson’s has been a favorite for 40 years; It’s always delicious! We shared a wedge salad and the half-rack/chop combo. Ribs were deliciously meaty and tender, the chop was huge and tasty, the coleslaw is as good as ever. Sadly, the au gratin potatoes are not what they once were - not bad, but not nearly as good as they used to be. Service was wonderful: friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was great, and I even got a delicious brownie sundae to celebrate my birthday!
