While the menu is rooted in tradition, our chefs focus on elevating Italian ingredients and classic flavors to create modern classics, adapted for the contemporary palate of New Orleans. The fresh pastas made by hand daily, roasted vegetables, meats and Napolitano style pizzas, all prepared in the restaurant’s iconic wood oven, are perfectly complemented by custom-brewed beers, seasonal craft cocktails and an Italian-focused wine list.

Drinks were a little slow but the food was delicious. The lasagna was an enormous portion.
The food at Domenica is always amazing! The lasagna is a must-have item. We also really enjoyed the pastas with white bolognese and parmesan fried oysters.
I had the best meal of my 2018 here. Fabulous pizza and pasta, the squid ink pasta cannot be missed!
Very interesting recipes for Tapas dishes. Love the creativity for normally simple dishes.
My wife and I had reservations later in the evening, but it was more convenient for us to go earlier. The staff was most accommodating, very quickly providing us with a perfect table. Celine, our server, was very engaging and attentive. Our meals were delicious. We look forward to returning.
Great dinner as always.
We went to Domenica for my brother’s 21st birthday. Our server was great and the food was delicious.
We were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to have dinner here. It was my birthday and our meal was fantastic. The pastry chef also prepared a birthday dessert for me. The Best tiramisu I ever ate.
Very noisy. I walked up to the host desk to check in the first time and wasn’t greeted. The second time closer to the resv time they finally said hello. The server overall was not attentive until i asked for our door to go. Then he asked if it was because of him. The cauliflower was great but the Rabbit Tagliatelle tasted like tomato paste not good. The lasagna that was rated “the best in the country” was not. The pizza was good too but the overall experience was disappointing.
Interesting take on Italian. Friendly food with small plates and pizzas. Creative seasoning, even the olive oil is pepper infused.
I have been here several times and this time it was disappointing. They didnt have their fried kale that day even though it was on the menu. They changed their pizzas to less interesting ones. Although the kitchen still made me the proscuitto and arugula pizza that had been taken off the menu. That is a great pizza..Why would they take it off and replace it with vegetarian ones? They were skimpy on the pizza sauce too. Service was only fair as they didnt even let us know it was happy hour. I had to ask. Not very attentive or enthusiastic. They went down a notch in my book.
Visiting the restaurant for the second time. Great Lasagna - recognized as the best of the best. My children ordered two pizzas and loved every bit of it. Great value and great change of pace in a city with unique cuisine options.
Fabulous food, I just love this place
We had a wonderful time before going to the Saints game. Absolutely fabulous!
This is my favorite restaurant when visiting New Orleans. Highly recommend the lasagna!
Domenica would get a 5 star in everything from me if they would stop changing the menu. We love the food here and frequent once a month. It's just so disheartening when you have something wonderful, can't wait to go back for it, and it's been altered or totally removed. I'll go back but without the excitement and anticipation I have in the past. Don't mess with a good thing when you have it.
Great lunch for 4 of us! Fried cauliflower is unreal.
Domenica was great, as always. The pasta and pizza were delicious. We got the whole cauliflower and the head was TINY. It was the smallest cauliflower I've ever seen. I had gotten it here before, but it was the size of a typical head of cauliflower.
Food was excellent and so was service. Pricey.
Fun restaurant with a wonderful menu. Our meals were outstanding!
A great foodie restaurant . Domenica is always a good choice, never disappointing.
Pizza was good
The salad had zero dressing and was tiny
The rabbit pasta was salty
Great wine list.
Overall my meal was ok, probably won’t return anytime soon
The hostess was the least personable person ever
We were a little disappointed when our server told us all alcoholic drinks were 1/2 off during happy hour, but then when we got the bill we were charged full price for one of the cocktails. When we inquired about it, he said that was one of the 3 drinks that was not included in happy hour. He should have told us that when we ordered our first drink. We ordered 3 of them thinking they were half off.
Food is always good, great atmosphere and a very personable staff from bartenders, servers, and management.
The music was too loud!
The food was delicious.
The waiter was slow.
Our server was great. Very personable, friendly, professional, and anticipated our needs.
Been our favorite spot for 2 years . Firat place we go when we hit the city.
The bruschetta and squid ink were so tasty and loved our waitress
We loved Domenica. We're from Northern NJ and the food rivaled some of the best NY/NJ Italian food we are lucky enough to have in great supply at home. Can't wait to go back to Domenica the next time we're in NOLA!
We were staying in the Roosevelt so Domenica made sense. I’d been several years before and I’d remembered it being fantastic. Well, my memory was accurate! We shared polenta and some cheeses to start; my girlfriend and I shared the pizza with clams (first for me) and the squid ink pasta. Both were amazing! Highly recommend!
The lasagna was fabulous!!
My wife and I love everything about this place. We seem to find ourselves back here time and time again. I wish they would bring back my favorite dish. Squid Ink pasta with rabbit and fried chicken livers. I could not get enough of it.
Domenica is always a go-to for my friend and I when she visits me in New Orleans, and this visit did not disappoint as we enjoyed the happy hour specials of pizza and bellinis plus the freshest caesar salad ever and the most delicious pasta dishes with sauce so spicy and flavorful! An absolute delight, one of the best restaurants in the city!
Great spot! Service was impressive, they went above and beyond for us. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!!!
Server was awesome!
Love the happy hour deal
We saw this restaurant on the Food Network and had to try it. I recommend the burrata and tagliatelle.
Outstanding as usual. Only thing we would change is the martini glasses.
Our waitress was frequently absent for long periods of time and seemed extremely rushed every time she stopped by, which was a little off-putting. Our appetizer (burrata) arrived lukewarm despite clearly having been heated and seemingly intended to be served at a much warmer temperature. Our entrees arrived just over 1 hour after we were first seated. Tables next to us also were complaining, to the point that one table actually left before their entrees arrived. Don't know what was going on that night, but it was a terrible experience. The food was decent but underwhelming, but we were so starved by the time it got there, I don't know that I could really judge it accurately.
Service was very disappointing. This is one of my favorite places in New Orleans and I was extremely disappointed. I felt rushed and not welcome. My kids food was great mine was cold. I own several restaurants and understand off nights. Hopefully this was just an anomaly.
