   Simply outstanding. Needed a bit more vegetables for the menu I felt, and the bill for two of us was very high, although we did have 6 cocktails, it is in Dublin city and the quality of the Porterhouse steak etc was top shelf. I have now booked myself, wife and two kids in for Sunday roast next Sunday, legends are told about it and I can't wait to return.

   Terrible staff - very unwelcoming. Not a single smile , felt like everyone hated working there. The food was alright but not worth the money given our experience. Barely any interaction with us when they brought us the menus - it was just slapped onto the table ! Safe to say we won’t be coming back here.

   Food was good, service was ok. Lady serving us was awkward in how she dealt with us each time. Food order took longer than I would have expected, I was almost at the point of asking where it was - circa 45 mins from entering restaurant to food arriving on table at a lunch time serving is too slow.

   The main star of the house is the beef and my beef dish delivered. I ordered the rump roast recommended by our waiter and it was juicy, tender and full of rich flavor. I couldn’t really decide on which of the sauces to pick from, and the waiter gave me all 3 kinds to try! He did not charge me for 2 out of the 3. Hawksmoor charges for everything, ie breads, veges, sauces, separately. My husband ordered the monk fish and he truly loved it. So fresh and flavorful. The appetizers were disappointing. The Cesar salad was slathered and drenched completely with some kind of yellow dressing. Only thing somewhat disturbing was that two of the servers had really long hair that hung over our food. Hair should really be tied back in this profession. Overall ambience was elegant and noise level was decent.

   Great food and friendly staff as usual. We've been here quite a few times now and have not been disappointed yet.

    Service staff not at the level for paying 5 star prices and venue. Never got the feeling that I was in a fine dining establishment
