We get at the restaurant at 8 and all the invites were there by 8:30 The service was very long. They send us appetizers that was really appreciated. Then we order food at 9 and we get our plates by 10:45 everyone get very mad and disappointed.

Une expérience exceptionnelle et ce, à tous les niveaux. La qualité des ingrédients est vraiment remarquable et les plats sont de véritables oeuvres d'art. Le soucis du détail est sans pareil, surtout pour un repas du midi. Le service était attentionné et courtois, en plus d'être très discret. Jeanne a su nous conseiller dans le choix des plats, en fonctions de nos préférences et restrictions. Chaque invité était comblé. L'ambiance est calme et agréable, idéal pour une discussion ou une rencontre. L'équipe a également souligné l'anniversaire de notre invité de manière chaleureuse. Bref, je donne 5 étoiles à toute l'équipe de James Le Restaurant. Merci et à très bientôt!

Front desk staff very attentive . From front door to coat check. Maître D ok perhaps a bit chaotic as other couples were waiting for check in . Music was good and soft sound . Able to speak and be heard by other diner. Were not properly informed about flower and loot bag . The lady at the concierge was able to correct situation only after we left the restaurant. That was the only hiccup . Bathroom/ toilet on the top landing would be a good idea.

Nous étions 4 amis. Au cours de la 1ere heure c'était difficile de discuter car le band de jazz jouait trop fort. Puis, suite à une plainte, le volume est devenu acceptable et l'ambiance était fort agréable dans le restaurant. Le service est impeccable. La cuisine est absolument irréprochable! De toute évidence, il y a un chef de haut calibre dans la cuisine! Le service de valet, jadis gratuit, coûte maintenant 20$. J'y retournerai, c'est certain. J'ai enlevé 1 étoile à cause du bruit lors de la première heure et du coût du service de valet. Prévoir 300$ par couple (apéro, vin, jazz band, taxes et pourboire inclus).
