Since 2007, Victoria Gastro Pub has provided an inviting pub atmosphere serving sophisticated, yet unpretentious food. For private events, we have three rooms to choose from. Our main room, “Seven Sisters”, seats 40 guests and comes fully equipped with a projector & screen. Our smaller room, “Oxford Circus”, seats up to 30 guests. Lastly, “Highbury Terrace”, can seat up to 50 guests. Two or even all three rooms can be combined to accommodate as many as 150 guests. Victoria's is always a solid choice. Although the menu isn't very large, the food is always tasty and well prepared. Decently large draft beer list. If you're in the bar, it can get noisy. Nice covered patio for outdoor eating. Service was very good.

We had lunch with a friend who eats only Gluten Free. My niece, who is extremely allergic to gluten, recommended it. We were not disappointed. The server and manager were very cognizant of the requirements and my friend had a lovely lunch. We also enjoyed our non-GF meals. We ate outside and enjoyed the fresh air and had no trouble hearing each other talk. The service was impeccable. I highly recommend Victoria Gastro Pub!

We chose Victoria’s Gastro Pub for dinner after a long work week. Delightful cocktails; friendly prompt service, and a menu filled with a variety of appealing choices—the poutine appetizer is a must, but the bang bang cauliflower was also excellent. Though we usually order entree dishes, we chose sandwiches that were also tasty and filling. It was a lovely experience. Thank you!

Duck fat fries orders as an appetizer were limp and tasteless. My flat iron steak had no seasoning - whoever cooked it forgot to add any seasoning and just smeared on a pat of butter before serving. I never use steak sauce, but this steak required it. My companions both ordered the pork loin and had similar comments. The vegetable served with the pork was unrecognizable both in appearance and taste

Our food was delicious, and the service was great. Shontae was our waitress and she was very friendly and helpful. It’s one of our favorite local places to eat because of the variety of dishes available and the solid service.

We were intrigued to come after reading the reviews so we made reservations for my daughters birthday. I had the short rib melt and my husband got the chicken sandwich with the ducks fat fries. Needless to say we were not impressed with the food. We felt like the food was missing something to take it over the top. Besides that drinks and service were food!

First time there - beautiful inside. Very, very quiet which was great. We were the only people in our section ant lunch on Saturday, until a family with a screaming child was seated in the same section - not fun. The food was good. I had the Black Angus Burger. It was undercooked and didn’t have much flavor. Two others got the fish and chips and said they were goo; our 4th person had the veggie wrap and said it was good. Our server was attentive and friendly.

You cannot go here and NOT get the Duck Fat Fries! Fish and chips were fabulous, and so was the salmon. Outstanding burgers. Drinks a bit pricy, especially for beer, but had a great Manhattan and Side Car martini at our table. Waiter was knowledgeable and helpful in choice selection for both bar and food. Not once did he say "everything we have is good" (which is never helpful).

Hostess and bartender were very courteous and welcoming. Waiter was new and a bit awkward, but efficient. Served champagne over ice. Food was good - ordered lobster quiche and portion was small, but since it was very rich, it was ok. Fish & chips were wee prepared. Duck fat fries could have been crispier but they were tasty. I would return on a non- holiday for a better perspective.

Went on 5/8/22. Ordered from their Mother’s Day menu: waffles that look and taste like they came from a grocery’s freezer and breakfast sandwich which was a sloppy mess of soggy scrambled eggs. Was first seated at the very back of a patio next to a dirty broom and a pile of booster chairs. Expressed displeasure and was moved to a slightly better location.
