The wait staff was attentive and helpful. Lunch was delicious and service was timely.
There were 6 of us, 5 ordered the same item however two were with special instructions, when the food was deliver by the runners, not the server, they did not know who got what and never mentioned that two were cooked special. My suggestion is to STOP using runners. The server should be the “SERVER” or call them what they are “ORDER TAKERS”.
Other than the hostess at the front being a little unresponsive to our presence the service was excellent. Food was better than I had remembered. One of the best I I’ve had in Danville. No wonder it’s still in business! Would definitely eat there again soon
The weather was nice enough to sit outside in the lovely patio. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The noodle and prawn salad was very tasty. Will definitely return in the future.
Slopped patio made the tables and chairs a little awkward to use in some cases. Very nice setting!
I have been to this restaurant many times and have always rated it very good. However, this was certainly an off night.
Let me start with I love Bridges. The food is delicious and everyone is very nice.
This time I was hosting two very good friends from out of town. It was my choosing to go to the best restaurant in Danville. Unfortunately, this time wasn’t the best.
We had missing spinach from a spinach scramble. We asked for jam, our server left to retrieve jam. He returned 10 minutes later and stated the restaurant didn’t have jam. We requested coffee, that took about 10-13 minutes. After the fact we were told they were brewing a fresh pot, and it took my friend a long time to get a coffee warm up.
I hope this comes as constructive criticism. I will be returning in hopes that the service is back to Bridges level.
Sunday brunch customer
It was a really nice evening. The entertainment on the patio was great! And the food was excellent. Service is always spot on at Bridges.
Tasty entrees (yet pork chop and swordfish received the same watercress garnish from the kitchen). Service was sporadic. Overall, an enjoyable birthday dinner.
went late for dinner on a Friday, service was spotty except for the bread bacon was not cooked as much in the halibut dish, and my passionfruit lemon tart drink was not as good as last time, too much lemon & vodka not enough other stuff...it is usually spot on, so my guess is this was all because we were there late.
We love Bridges for special nights out
The service is exceptional and the food always fit for a foodie
We had wonderful dinner at Bridge's. Salmon and chicken dishes was great . Love to go back again.
I have been coming to Bridges for over 20 years. Kevin Gin is a super talented chef, and I have never had a meal there that I didn't like. I highly recommend this restaurant. The patio is beautiful and on a nice night, really elevates the dining experience.
The food and atmosphere were great. It was very clean and inviting. Not too crazy about the complimentary dessert. The server could have been a little more attentive, especially compared to the other servers near our table. Overall it was a very pleasant experience that I would strongly recommend.
Excellent restaurant for any occasion.
Bridges never disappoints...everything was delicious, fresh, well presented, service was great.
The patio seating was fabulous, with great weather and gorgeous lighting, and live entertainment in the background. Our waiter was attentive and engaging. The artichoke ravioli and The Special grilled line caught catch of the day were scrumptious. Just steps away from the Village Theatre. A perfect evening.
Always great. It has been my “go to” restaurant for years. I love the seafood cioppino! It is light and delicious.
Great time at Bridges, always delivers, very reliable and great food.
Had a fabulous anniversary dinner! It's our go-to Danville place!
I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful setting to celebrate my late mother's birthday, especially since it had been on her bucket list to dine here (Mrs. Doubtfire has been a family favorite since my childhood). We each ordered a different dish and enjoyed each one immensely. The desserts were rich and decadent, and we had trouble choosing between the different options because they all sounded so lovely. The sauce for the Mexican Prawns was incredible, and the Balsamic Swirl Cheesecake is worth a return trip!
I did want to note - since our mother had recently passed (just earlier this year) there were a few moments throughout the evening where emotions overrode us, but the server was incredibly compassionate and patient. Upon discovering the reason for our celebration, he comped our desserts in a much appreciated gesture of kindness. We cannot express enough gratitude for the stellar service - it made our experience even more special and memorable.
We celebrated my friend’s birthday on the patio. It was great!
Bridges is consistently enjoyable, great food, love the atmosphere on the large patio. Good value!
Went for Sunday brunch with some friends, and was seated outside. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating, and the food and mimosas were excellent. Service was outstanding in a very quaint and chill environment. One of the best brunch spots in Danville by far. Would highly recommend!
The only problem was that Bridges did not have our reservation from Open Table. Bridges was very accommodating and seated us outside on a very busy night.
We went there for Saturday date night. Sat outside. Service was good. Food was nothing remarkable. The bread to start tasted stale and plain. I had the pork chop and my husband had the salmon - both were good and nice size portions. We had the creme brulee for desert which was very rich - it had a biscotti on the top that could have broken a tooth.
We will come back!!! It’s not inexpensive but it was worth the cost. The service was excellent.
It was a fantastic dinner experience, excellent service, nice atmosphere followed with an amazing solo music.
The food and the drinks were as good as they can be, I will definitely will recommend anyone such a great restaurant.
Food was very good. We ordered artichoke ravioli and fall risotto. Both were well done. No complaints.
The food was exceptional. Service was very good. Love the round tables, great for large groups. I was there for a business meeting but I will go back with friends !
Our second birthday dinner at Bridges and we were not disappointed. Our waiter was attentive without being suffocating, we had appetizers with drinks which was a nice combination and our entree's were diverse and delicious.
We - three ladies - enjoyed Sunday brunch, seated outdoors. Unfortunately our lunch date coincided with smoke from the Solano fires. We were offered to move inside the restaurant but enjoyed staying outdoors by the fountain, listening to the live music.
A true gem that has stood the test of time. I love the outside seating and the inside seating. No bad spot in this restaurant. Food is wonderful and reasonably priced. Servers very attentive and go the extra mile. You never have to wait for anything they are always right there to help.
Our experience was just OK tonight unlike previous times when it's been truly fantastic all the way around.
Something was just a bit off kilter tonight. 😏
Bridges is a great place for a fabulous culinary experience.
Great food and good times
I had indicated we were celebrating birthdays - yet nothing was mentioned or done.
Two of us are vegetarians (and allergic to mushrooms), the menu selection was quite limited, and some specifics were not indicated on the menu (ingredients, whether or not items were "on the side").
Server was just okay - not particularly helpful with the menu, or our issues with the food.
We love to come for Sunday brunch and enjoy the music.
Enduring 1 1/2 hours of late Saturday afternoon traffic from Los Altos was worth the trip.
Lovely patio but we could have done without the live music,
which drowns out the white sound from the fountain and
made conversations difficult
A nice place for lunch, dinner... on a date or just with friends.
I eat here monthly.
Joe is my favorite server!!!
