   Excellent food and service, but we were disappointed that the hummus was no longer on the menu. Please bring that back.

   Major menu changes. No more brussels and no more simple & healthy. Bad decision.

   Food quality has been in consistent decline for at least a year now. Last four dining experiences have been particularly bad--with each person in my party ordering different menu items each time, all equally subpar. I will not be returning.

   We almost never give five stars, so four means we really liked it. Our second lunch in recent months at Chef Geoff's on New Mexico was really excellent. The burger and a nice riff on chicken Milanese were delicious. Note that we were not as impressed by one visit to the West End location.

   New menu at Chef Geoff’s New Mexico Avenue NW DC. Two of us ordered fish and chips. Terrible. What should be a simple dish to prepare and enjoy was overcooked, greasy and dark as if the kitchen’s frying oil had not been changed recently. We also had calamari to start - similar.but the fish and chips were worse. We are longtime local customers and will give it another shot but very disappointing. Hard to believe anyone in management would have approved of this dish or sent it out.

   I'll start by admitting that I've been coming to Chef Geoff's when Geoff Tracy opened it more than 2 decades ago. The food is consistently excellent. But in the last year or so, the service has been erratic; sometimes great, and sometimes affirmatively poor (a few nights ago: waited 20 minutes for order to be taken, had to ask for napkins, had to ask for a spoon when soup was served, etc. - not a disaster at all, but not enjoyable). The servers themselves are fine; they simply are VERY understaffed and poorly managed. We'll still go back since the food remains great, but I'll just be prepared for hit-or-miss service. It's something management could easily correct.

   Wonderful receptionist, wonderful waitress, great space, and lovely food. Every time we have eaten there, it has been exceptionally good.

    One guest did not receive her order. We waited about 10-12 minutes and then found server who did bring us the missing entre. But it did take awhile.
