Harp & Crown
We are now offering a Brunch Buffet on Saturday and Sunday starting at 10:30am with our last seating at 2:00pm.
Fantastic night for dinner before going to the Kimmel Center.
The brunch buffet was packed with delicious food items, both savory and sweet. Excellent portion sizes. The ambiance was satisfying due to the decor, although the lighting was too dim. My seating accommodations didn’t meet my expectations. I was lumped together with another table. I would definitely go again but would request normal seating.
we had some challenges with our reservation and the staff was great at helping us to get settled and have a lovely evening.
Amazing meal. We sat near the door so it was cold
Excellent evening all around. Food was creative and delicious. Favorites were the Brussels sprout appetizer, beet salad, and squid. Server was phenomenal. Just the right amount of humor combined with attention and knowledge of the menu. Thank you Richard! We were seated by the door in a beautiful room with kokedama hanging from the ceiling. Only issue was the cold breeze from the front door. Apparently laundry service didn’t deliver the curtain on time which would have mitigated the cold. Manager gave us a round of free drinks to compensate!
Had to wait nearly an hour for our reservation. The manager was very nice but that’s still a really long time to wait with a reservation.
Searching for a spot for a dinner with work friends around Rittenhouse Square, Harp although it's not required.
Exceptional service and great food. Hangar Steak and Pork Belly’s were delicious.
Was not notified it was “Buffet only” the seating along the perimeter was Horrendous! The couple we were placed next to literally pinned me to our table and it was understaffed for a fully packed brunch!
Everyone was professional and courteous.
The only complaint is seating in the booths can be a bit tight.
This was one of the best meals, if not THE best, that I have had so far in Philadelphia. I can't wait to come back. Everything about it was above and beyond.
Sunday bunch was good. Good variety tasty would go again
This place is AMAZING! We went for brunch and the food was wonderful, staff was so nice, the ambiance is perfect. LOVE this place, will be coming back many more times!
had a great brunch this past weekend at Harp and Crown!
would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a nice brunch/lunch in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
many food choices!!
very friendly and accommodating staff!
will return next time I visit Philly, for sure!
The three stars for service was no reflection on our waiter who was great. It is just that the food comes out too fast.
Otherwise a terrific experience.
There is a rod near the door to hang a wind block curtain. Time to put that curtain up! We sat in "The Garden" which is indoors and got blasted.
We had an amazing server and the brunch overall was really a value for what they provide! Definitely go for brunch, the most underrated spot for it in the city!
What a great place to celebrate our anniversary! We were greeted with sparkling win, thestaff was on point, and the manager came at the end of our meal and chatted with us a bit. Great time!
Great space and the vibe had real energy. Food was good. They spend way too much time talking about “our concept” as if it’s unique. Everyone has the seasonal small and large plate thing now and the menu was pretty standard stuff for these types of restaurants.
Our big complaint was the service. Way too many “manager types” walking around with ear pieces asking how things are going. Way too many bus boys trying to clear you plate (twice we were mid bite when we were asked if they could clear plate that clearly still had food on it). On the other hand our waiter was really hard to find and it was easily 20 min before our drink order.
Loved it! Great service, excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices. Can’t wait to go back!
Booked a reservation here to celebrate my the engagement of me and my fiancé’. The hostess and waitress were so accommodating to last minute changes in our party size, and even gave us champagne on the house. So glad we picked harp and crown go celebrate with our closest friends!!
Birthday Bowling Party
Great food and service; reservation was for 12PM but didn’t get seated until 1230PM - that was the only negative.
Average food with above average ambiance. Sums it up.
Nice happy hour while waiting. Friendly service. Richard was a good waiter. Food was ok to sub par. Cesar and endive salad was good. Ordered a “ny steak for 2”. Steak was over cooked and fatty. Average sized steak for one person. No price on the menu for obvious reasons. $70 once the bill came. Ended a somewhat nice experience tasteless.
Great place for a drink or a meal. Lots of food options that are tapas style but some of the plates are larger. The cauliflower is HUGE! Halibut was very delicious and properly prepared. Beet salads and steaks were also very good. Bar scene is active so may be tough to find a spot but the cocktails were outstanding. It is a bit noisy with the high ceilings. Noise travels so may not be the best for work dinners but would also depend on where you are seated. Recommended.
Went with a group and had two different pizzas, beet salad, lamb meatballs and some pasta. All were fabulous!
Great food and an outstanding server... Helpful and humorous
Would definitely return on our next trip to Philly
We went there after a show - and it was the perfect spot to catch up with a friend. We ordered the chef’s menu - and it was a fun way to enjoy the choices!
Brought my friends here for a birthday brunch and it was fantastic! Would definitely come back again!
The Sunday brunch was very good. The only issues we had was with our waitress, who seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She didn’t say anything about the cocktail of the month nor explained what was included in the price and what was not. She did not even introduced herself! We notice that the waiter for the table next to us explained absolutely everything to his guests; he even told them about the bowling alley downstairs. I hope the manager catches up and train our waitress so she can do a better job.
I made a reservation 2 months ago for brunch at 10:30am for 6. Someone from the restaurant called me personally to confirm. We arrive at 10:30 ( which is when the restaurant opens on Sunday morning), and 3 people at the front check in had us wait 20 minutes for a table. That's ridiculous. You don't open til 10:30, so no one else had used the table. You weren't prepared for us even though we made a reservation and you confirmed it! The server was OK. Nice buffet, but the first one I have seen that didn't have pre-made scrambled eggs. If you want eggs- you must stand in line and wait for an omelete. Easily could have had scrambled or eggs benedict in the chafing dishes. We ate, paid over $200 and barely made the start of the Eagles game.
Food and atmosphere excellent, service professional and friendly.
Never got to eat. Gave them three chances to seat us at a proper table for a reservation made a month prior and all three were more ridiculous than the one before. Host followed us out of restaurant to ask if he could still accommodate us with a table downstairs in the bowling alley. I’m 61 and my wife not far behind. If we wanted to eat at a bowling alley we would have gone to one. Maybe we just needed a little more traditional spot than they we willing to offer (they did have some, but didn’t offer to us) . Apparently we didn’t fit their demographic (young with less disposable income). Their loss not ours.
We did the chefs tasting menu. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was wonderful. We will be back very soon!
21st birthday celebration for my son. We did an event with a pre-selected menu and it was fantastic. So much food!
Delicious; great decor - everyone, in our party of 6, enjoyed their meal!
Struggled with having enough clean wine glasses. Our wine was not served until our charcuterie was finished. One entree was delayed by the kitchen almost to the point that all members of our party of six were done with theirs after waiting a poliete amount of time to gain the last plate before our own entrees were cold. Our server was less than kind about either situation.
Great cocktails and food, ambiance and decor highly rated.
