We did still had to wait even though we had a reservation and while the food is good, it’s extremely overpriced. Basically you’re just over paying for it being at the falls, which most likely you won’t see from your table anyways! There was a couple things off with my $35 crab Benedict, like barely any crab (again this was $35!) and too much sauce. But, our server was incredibly friendly and the biscuits are still as good as ever.

It's become a yearly tradition to come here around Christmas. I love all the decorations. I appreciate that they have a vegan menu. I ordered the vegan skillet which included potatoes, vegetables and a cilantro mint pesto. It was super good! They have us a complimentary biscuit (fruit for me) which was a nice touch. Service was a bit slow, but that's understandable for a busy Saturday. Also, we were seated next to a busing station that had dirty dishes on it, so I didn't like that part.

Piper was our server and she was fantastic! We felt like we had dinner with a friend. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and the ambience swish’s for itself. Salish Lodge and Spa is an absolute treat. We can’t wait to go again.

Dining room was great, the food was a little spendy for what you got. Our waiter was good until he forgot our dessert, but made it up with not charging us and gave us 20.00 gift card to use later. I think the prices should come down a little and have the portions a little bigger!!

We had the perfect mid-week brunch at The Dining Room. We deliberately booked for 11:00 to have choice of both brunch and lunch sides of the menu. It was a little confusing to find with the gift shop having moved. The renos of the gift shop and addition of the bar are fabulous. We're planning on going back for Holiday High Tea.

My boyfriend and I made reservations at the Dining Room for our anniversary. They went above and beyond with nice little touches to celebrate. The service was excellent and the food was even better. Pricey, but it's not like you wouldn't know that going in. Would definitely go back!

Incredible experience for our 6 year anniversary. Staff provided special attention to it being our anniversary, rose petals sprinkled our table and we were served complimentary champagne. The food was fantastic. Just a wonderful dinner overall. Also had an awesome brunch experience here as well!

Hollandaise sauce tasted very strange (ordered w/ a filet). Halibut was luke warm when served. Vegatables were ok, but lacked favor. On the positive side, Caesar Salad was great, birthday cake and starting glass of bubbles (both free) were wonderful, as was the bread. Outstanding service by all - the food was overall, just not up to par for the price.

Overcooked scallops but still tasted good. Felt cold inside the restaurant. We requested and they accommodated us in front of the fireplace. Service staff very friendly.

What a Fantastic evening. The food was outstanding. The staff were amazing and the extra wait for our table left us to experience different parts of the Lodge. Where do I begin? We arrived at 5:55PM for our 6:00PM reservation for their $140.00/person Thanksgiving feast. Upon checking in at the hostess desk we were told the dining room was behind 20-30 minutes, requiring us to wait. At the 40 minute wait we asked how much longer as we watched several other customers arriving that the wait would be up to an hour after their reservation. The food and beverage manager was called (not at our request) and we expressed our disappointment. He said he'd set up a table immediately. Hmm, how come suddenly there was a table available. The major problem was overbooking and poor time management of tables. Another annoying issue was that a credit card had to be used to make the reservation and cancellation had to be done two weeks in advance. The credit card requirement was OK, but minimum two weeks for cancellation is excessive in my opinion. Customers were given no time limit, like 1.5 or 2.0 hours for instance. The menu offerings were varied, including salmon, prime rib, sweet potato gnocci, as well as the traditional Thanksgiving offerings. I can safely say that the traditional menu was "meh", nothing to write home about and the sweet potato gnocci was tough, leaden and lacking in flavor. We won't be back to an otherwise lovely location.

Food was excellent. Unfortunately, table was not ready for 30 minutes when we arrived for our reservation and service was very slow and forgetful. We were at our table for 3 hours. Too long. We waited a long time for the entrees. The bar was brand new and drinks were ok but also, waited a long time for a drink.

We were delighted with our experience. We'd never seen the edible candle before so that was a lovely surprise. And we were stunned that ordering the traditional Thanksgiving meal meant being sent home the ENTIRE turkey. Also the sides were served family style and we ate what we were served so it was a big surprise to get more of all of those, plus additional servings of dessert. The very nice bag they presented to us was 9 pounds! The courses were lovely, enjoyed the food, and the whole experience was really well done. I would definitely recommend it. It was of course crowded, sometimes noisy, and busy since it was Thanksgiving, but we weren't in a hurry so that was fine.

We recently celebrated Thanksgiving here. I was pleasantly surprised on how good the whole experience was. Our server's name is Lovely(from Argentina) and she was awesome. My wife and I both need to be gluten free and this was one of the only places that actually had dinner rolls for us. The biggest surprise was at the end of the meal, we got to take home the remaining turkey, plus side dishes. I have never seen this happen before at a restaurant before and everyone knows leftovers are the best part of Thanksgiving. We will definitely be back for other special occasions!

I had the King Salmon which was perfectly pan seared. My husband had turkey with all the trimmings. The turkey was expertly carved tableside. All very tasty and we got to take home the leftover turkey and sides!

Two of us went for Thanksgiving dinner "experience." Fixed price seemed a little high, but for this venue worth trying it out. Imagine our surprise when we found out during carving that whatever part of the turkey we didn't eat would go home with us, complete with sides! So we got a couple more meals out of it. The food was great, a few bumps in service (no serving spoons for the sides which were served "family style," no explanation ahead of time of the leftovers situation. I almost chose the salmon option and my wife the gnocchi, which would have meant no leftovers for the same price per head). Anyway, Salish is always a great place to dine, we had a lovely view. My only complaint, and this is partially on me for not asking before ordering it, was the wine flight. $45 for three courses, and I assumed this meant full pours. Nope, it was two ounce pours. So I paid $45 for six ounces of wine. None of the wines were worth that. Fine, but not outstanding. Live and learn I say!

Went here for lunch with my husband yesterday. We were lucky enough to get a window seat with a great view. For appetizer we ordered the simple salad and clam chowder and for mains we had the steak frites and fish and chips. Everything was delicious and we were very satisfied. Our server, Julie, was very sweet and friendly. We will be back again soon!

The Salish Lodge Dining Room is a treat at any time of day. The biscuits with honey at brunch are a historical treat, but even if brunch is missed, you feel a part of history enjoying the space.

My wife & I dine here every year on our anniversary and the entire experience couldn't be better. The food is so perfect I can't put it into words. Our server Jeanette treated us like royalty, as did the entire staff. We sincerely thank you. Doug & Kim.
