We elevate culturally significant dishes using high-quality ingredients and modern techniques. Our beverage program includes signature handcrafted cocktails, a robust sake and wine selection, and Asian whiskies and beers. Join us for weekend brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm, or stop by during happy hour Monday to Friday from 4-6pm featuring $6 bar bites, handrolls, and beer, $9 cocktails and wine, and $10 sake. Way to expensive for what you got. Liked the food, but didn’t love anything. With the prices, everything should have been great. Overall, was unimpressed and would not go back.

So sad as this is typically one of our favorite restaurants. We travel to Chicago every year to see our son at Notre Dame. We always make it a point to eat at Sunda as their food is cutting edge and amazing. Our experience ce this weekend was subpar. We ordered one of our favorite rolls and my son cut the room of his mouth on a piece of lobster shell. The waiter took the shell piece and said he would notify the head chef and manager. They swiftly came with our bill and never said anything about it- no apology or comp dish etc. Really terrible service. We will think twice about coming back.

It’s noisy in the restaurant and the server seemed very annoyed that she couldn’t hear us and then just seemed all around annoyed, made us uncomfortable

For our first Asian/Japanese food experience in Chicago, Sunda was amazing. Food, atmosphere and decor were great. Thoroughly recommend it!

We were celebrating a graduation. The food was amazing, but Jerry our server made the experience phenomenal. Thank you Jerry for making this such a memorable evening.

Brunch is very underwhelming. We shared many of the brunch items the Phillipino inspired bowl w sausage or bacon recommended by the wait staff awful! It lacked ingredients listed in the menu. Don’t bother! We enjoyed the sushi and the crazy rice. We’ve been here before for dinner and it was great. We were celebrating a birthday today and disappointed by the quality and lack of flavor. Is there a different chef?

I gave this place a second chance after going 1 time before and having a bad experience with quality of food, freshness and service. What I now decided is you can’t eat good sushi in the Midwest! My most recent visit was with work colleagues and we had a table of 8 and everyone felt sick. Fish was super smelly! We all only were able to get 1 drink because our server never came around. Next time I come back to Chicago I’ll stick with the amazing Steak houses or go to Joe’s Stone Crab. Sunda close down!!
