   Started off with a Manhattan and watermelon drink on the cocktail menu. Incredible for both. Moved on to a great beet salad with a goat cheese soft cheese. Then had chicken in puff pastry and ribeye were increíble for both. We paired our food with a glass of wine from the wine glass list which is extensive. If not for driving would have ordered off bottle list which was 8 pages I believe. Great options. For the ambience it was so romantic as always. Dimly lit and near fireplace. The restaurant was busy but service was still very attentive and not intrusive. This is the best Italian in Santa Rosa and continues to be. Can't wait to eat outside in summer again The garden is magical in the evenings.

   A very pleasant surprise. First time here and we loved it. Great venue, delicious food with good portions, good wine list and decent prices considering the quality. Host could be more welcoming but overall no complaints. Will be coming back.

   My ravioli was soggy and the duck was so puréed and mixed it tasted more like pirk filling and the dish not even taste like duck. The playing looked disgusting but the cabbage only tasted good. The waiter did not refill our water glasses or ask if we wanted another round of cocktails. This was our anniversary dinner which was known. The ambiance is alm this place has going..

   6:15 Saturday dinner on the porch. Service started out great, with the waiter very attentive. However, after our dinners arrived he never checked back, not once. He attended the tables all around us but we couldn't catch his eye. One glass of wine was all I got. My dining partner's dish was not up to Ca Bianca's usual standard. It was overcooked (chicken in puff pastry)...the bottom was very dark brown with burned black areas and the chicken breast was dried out. We've been here before and always had a nice experience. So diappointing. On the plus side, the mushroom soup was superb. We'd come back for that as a grazing appetizer and go somewhere else for mains. Also, the ambiance on the porch was so charming. The fountain bubbling and tulip tree in full bloom, right in downtown Santa Rosa!

   This was my first post covid visit. Loved the familiarity and the fact the historic charm remains unchanged. Bar gets an a plus as they carry Lillet Blanc and the diverse wine list is financially approachable. We went with the crab ravioli and rib eye specials. Steak was a bit chewy despite medium rare prep. Should have gone with the rack of lamb. Next time.

    Unfortunately one of the waitstaff knocked over our bottle of wine. The head waiter came out and just asked how everything was ...sort of feeling out whether we were going to complain about the spillage. Once we mentioned it ..then he apologized and really wasn't planning to remedy the situation unless we asked. Not fine dining etiquette I feel.... After we asked...he did give a small extra taster of inferior wine to us. Not impressed.

    The issue with this place is the service. We told the waiter one of us had a food allergy yet he didn't seem to care at all. One of the main dishes was served 10 minutes after the rest of us. Had to ask several times for more wine and even water. The food was over pretty good overall though.

    I had preciously come to Ca’bianca with coworkers and we all had pasta and wine and had a great experience. Therefore, I decided to come back here to celebrate my partner’s birthday for a special dinner. Unfortunately, food was nothing but disappointment this time around. We has the mushroom polenta for appetizer and not only the texture of polenta was all wrong and super dry but it had a weird aftertaste and was inedible. I didn’t know it was possible to mess up polenta this bad. We each took one bite and stopped. For main course, we both ordered from their specials. My partner had the rib-eye and although it was cooked to medium-rare as requested, the meat was very tough and we basically brought it home for our dog. I had the mushroom pasta which was also extremely subpar. We didn’t even stay for dessert and left hungry and disappointed instead of having a special dinner we were hoping for. We ended up picking up pizza from somewhere else on our way home. I had no complaints regarding service and ambience. Staff is courteous and the restaurant is very pretty. However, don’t expect consistently good food. Very disappointed as I was hoping this would become one of our regular places in Santa Rosa.

    My sister and I so appreciated the warmth of the dining room - both in ambience and temperature on a very chilly night. As always, the service and food were great. We make it a point to eat here anytime we are in Santa Rosa. It never disappoints.

    From the moment you're greeted by the charming host--at least he's been the same man over the last 6 years of my visits--until you take the last dessert bite, you will feel you've had a special meal. Noise indoors was a problem for me in the past (two biggest rooms), so this time we ate on the porch. "Curtains" and overhead heaters kept us warm and dry. It was 46 degrees and raining that night. No noise from other three tables.

    Our table sucked! By the kitchen door, by the front door and on the way to every other table in the restaurant. I was bumped into throughout dinner by customers and your staff whizzing around creating an slipstream in and out of the kitchen. Nobody should have to be seated in an intersection.

    Came here with a party of 7 people. Our table was in an uncomfortable corner. We had to pass off items back and forth with the waiters because they couldn't walk around to each side of the table. Not something I feel is a $500 seating experience. For appetizers, we had the polenta and gnocchi- both very good. I ordered the vegetariana with gluten-free pasta, and it was delicious! We ordered tirimisu and creme brule and it completely missed the mark. My son order the apple dessert and he was very happy with it.
