The spirit of Pizzeria Villaggio can be traced back to our traditional roots in Campobasso, a humble town filled with beautiful people in Southern Italy. Pizzeria Villaggio has been run by the Palladino family since opening in 1986. Borrowing our grandparent’s secret recipes and adopting their love of good authentic food, combined with the Italian values of creating a great family atmosphere for all age groups, has contributed to our success and longevity. We have a dedicated & friendly team who are passionate about using high-quality ingredients to produce delicious Italian food.

    Always impressed with Villaggio whenever we visit. Lovely staff and atmosphere. For the first time ever since we started visiting my dish came out a little on cold side, but this was not a problem and was replaced instantly. Highly recommended for anyone who likes traditional, freshly cooked Italian food

    We’ve eaten in Villagio many times, but as of late, the food in the Lakeside eatery seems to be getting better and better. We love the family friendly feel, how welcoming the venue is for children and the opportunity to sit outside on a nice evening. Last nights meal was beautiful. My own pasta had minimal ingredients, but was Italian cooking at its finest - simple and delicious. The brownie for pudding was also an absolute delight. I find many brownies are heavy, this one was light and tasty to boot! Thank you for having us Villagio. We look forward to our next visit!

    Amazing meal as always! Food was great, service with a smile and good atmosphere. Toddler friendly too!

    Had a lovely evening. Sat outside which was also good. Service was good and prompt. Polite staff my only reservation was that I had to send mine back as my meal was not hot enough. My meal quickly taken away and replaced by a new meal and was boiling hot. Overall very pleased with everything.

    4th time going to the restaurant and hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in Cardiff and local without having to travel into the City Centre. Staff were great and very accommodating as one of us were Gluten Free. Upon request they were able to make up a gluten free pizza base: half margarita and half ‘garlic bread’ style = 10/10. Also really recommend the carbonara Italian style without cream! 10/10!
