   Have had lunch and noted how good it was….not a dinner place. Food was not fresh cooked…seemed warmed over and dry. Place smelled like a bar room.

   Luke Wholey’s has great seafood and sushi choices. I especially like their fried oysters when they are available. My husband had the swordfish which was just right. (Not too dry) I had the Captain Crunch sushi roll. So good! Our waitress was awesome . She was busy but did her best to check in on all of her customers. I highly recommend going to Luke Wholey’s for a casual dinner out.

   On Sundays, we get in the car and GPS automatically comes up to take us here. We love it. The food,the drinks, the atmosphere, the people, the music, THE SERVICE IS PHENOMENAL! Make a reservation because they fill up. But if you don’t, it’s worth the wait!

   I'm from the Texas gulf coast and have enjoyed fresh seafood most of my life. This is the best seafood restaurant in Pittsburgh, hands down. Monterrey Bay does some interesting preparations and has that Mt Washington view but if you want great fish dishes at a fair price head to this spot in the Strip.

   This was our first time at Luke Wholey's Wild Alaskan Grille. We had a party of eight and all enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Everyone ordered something different and we did a lot of sampling among the group. We all loved the food and already have discussed what we would order the next time we went! We had two kids, 5 & 7, and they had a nice kids menu, as well. Our service was great and Luke even stopped by to check on us. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed, we surely weren't.

    Bartender was awesome, helping me to select a beverage…friendly and sociable. A keeper! Our table’s wait-person eas also amazing. ALL the food was awesome. Amazing swordfish preparation. Calamari was NOT rubbery, and was perfect.

    We were seated promptly but the table was right by the front door and were blasted with cold air every time the door opened. Food and service were both subpar. Ordered fried calamari for an appetizer and it wasn’t very crispy. It was also covered in grated cheese, which isn’t common and wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Also ordered fish and chips and it came with shoestring fries, not chips, and the coating on the fish was not a beer batter as is traditional. It was a soggy breading and had absolutely no crisp to it whatsoever. Given the prices charged here, this meal and experience were very disappointing.

    Always a good experience. Not often you go to a restaurant and the owner is in the kitchen helping staff on one of the biggest days of the year for restaurants. The staff, food and atmosphere is always great!

    Our waitress was amazing. You could tell it was a busy night so the food and drinks took a little longer to come out but she apologized for it and the food was amazing. Everything we had was great and I’ll definitely be back.

    Everything I had here was immaculate. Most notably, the seafood nachos, which are a winter item to my understanding. Keep them all year round! The staff is so friendly, the seating was great. I got the steel city lobster roll which was great. I am never disappointed when I come here!

    Thoroughly enjoyed the Restaurant Week Seafood Nachos offering. Fish and chips were almost as good. Server was excellent. It was loud but tolerable noise level. The temperature of the restaurant was so cold that we needed to wear our winter coats throughout the meal. Definitely a restaurant that we’d return to enjoy another meal!

    If you've ever shopped at Wholey's, you should definitely try their restaurant. And if you haven't shopped, you should. Fantastic food and surprisingly good beer menu. I'd highly recommend.
