On Tuesday, December 24, 2019, my wife and I had dinner there. It was excellent. We had the appetizer of the octopus salad. We had branzino. It was a special. Very moist. My wife had the berry Zaba. I had a cannoli. The service was also excellent. The room was quiet. The food was balanced.

While the items we ordered were fairly good, the service at the beginning of the early evening dinner, despite being a very small and intimate dining room, seemed a little disjointed with the several of the attending wait staffers and maitre d's forgetting requested items. The grilled octopus was a bit mushy missing that crispiness on the outside and the while the fettuccine bolognese had the spicy tang the pasta was a bit too al dente. We'll give Erimina another go soon too see it improves to the level its raters have given it.

Excellent Filet of Sole, Veal Milanese and Pumpkin Ravioli. Appetizers and salads likewise delicious. Small quiet restaurant conducive to conversation. Service very good and not rushed. I will definitely return.

I have been to Erminia three or four times over the years. It's a restaurant that I have reserved for special occasions with someone else and don't just go to because it happens to be in my neighborhood (which it is). It is absolutely charming, which its tiny size contributes to, and it is marked by attentive service--never snobby despite some well-known clientele--and superior food. Highly recommended.

I love the ambiance of this restaurant. It's small and quiet. The service is exceptional and you feel like a dinner guest in Italy. The food is very yummy- the pastas are delicious and the wine is good, too!

We love this little gem on the upper east side of New York. Great Italian food and the personal service is always first rate. It's easy to get to by subway. A must to experience when in New York!

Small and romantic setting. Limited number of tables makes for personal service by all. My family enjoyed the entire experience. Food was excellent with the pasta tasting fresh and hand made. Cooked to perfection (I hate overcooked pasta, no problem here). Jose did a great job along with everybody else there, I wish I had learned the names of all of them because they deserve recognition for running such a unique place. Would visit over and over if we lived in Manhattan.
