Reservation for 6 on Derby day at 7:15 & they let us move from outside to in due to a possible rain shower. It did happen about 10min. after we moved in! Food & service was very good. Everyone was extremely pleased with the evening!

The restaurant is old but quaint. The outdoor patio has a little pond and nice greenery. A couple of times we had to look for our server to make a request. I had fried shrimp which was very good. The coleslaw through was not edible to me. The tarter sauce was the best I have ever had. My husband had the stuffed fried shrimp which were delicious. Overall I recommend.

We love having brunch here. We came back for a visit after moving away a year ago and this was on our must stop list! Husband had “country ham breakfast”and I did a “little of everything breakfast”. Both were amazing!! It was so good to have some good county ham. Biscuits and gravy were so good as well. Of course don’t forget the beignets for me. Husband is gluten intolerant and subs fruit for biscuits and he has no issues. Bloody Mary’s were good as always. Thanks for making our memories live up to the reality. Will always be on our return list of places Service was nice too

Loved our dinner here. My husband and I shared the fried oysters with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Each drank a pour of Kentucky bourbon. Their bread pudding was “to die for” and huge! Took some home.

We invite out family to dine with us. They live out of town. As we were being seated. We got as whiff of marijuana from the staff huddled together across from the hostess area. This is totally unacceptable. If it were not for us entertaining family. We as a couple would have left. That is not the place nor time for staff to taking part of something that should not be imposed on paying customers. Sad to say we will not be recommending Selena’s to others.
