Made a reservation for 2 on 01/18 at 11:45am. Showed up and was told her restaurant was closed and that me and my +1 should use the lounge. The website states that the restaurant is open on weekends for breakfast during the hours that we arrived, however it didn’t seem so. I’m dissatisfied with the fact that I had to experience this inconvenience and inconsistency. Doubt I would ever go here, since I can trust the hours.

The Thanksgiving buffet was fabulous! Service was excellent and so was the food! The dessert selection was the only thing we weren’t super happy with. All in all, a great experience!

The food was very low quality for the high price. Undercooked, mediocre presentation, no imagination or inspiration. Same goes for drinks: watery, bland cocktails, cold coffee. And the restaurant added 20% gratuity , for sad buffet style meal! Gross looking mashed potatoes, huge bowl of whipped cream with a couple of fruit in it, really? One step above country Kitchen Buffet. They charged 95 $ for one person lunch!

Celine Dionne concert the night I went. Not enough servers, controlled chaos. My reservation was earlier but still took time to get our food. There were some unhappy people. Server was great. It wasn’t her issue. Management should staff up for events.

We had a reservation at 5:30 when we sat down we ordered drinks nothing special a glass of wine and a Manhattan. There were only a couple of people in the restaurant. 20 minutes later our drinks finally showed up. Then we order our main food. For starters we order their soup and a house salad. After 45 minutes our starters never showed up. We talked to the manager twice trying to figure out what was happening in the kitchen because our main food still hadn’t arrived after 1 hour 15 minutes. Our waitress never came to our table once to see what was happening or even try to explain what was happening. The only person who ever stopped by our table was the water man. The food eventually arrived but it was so salty we couldn’t even eat it. I definitely would not recommend this place if you have to be somewhere at a certain time.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, sultry almost. The service was superb, we were taken care of every step of the way. Our server was amazing and we greatly appreciated her suggestions throughout the evening. The food was impeccable. If we ever find ourselves in Minneapolis again, this is where we will be. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Completely CUSTOM 5-course seasonal and locally inspired tasting menu including vegetarian and non-vegetarian main courses (halibut and elk!-Delicious). Both Chefs came out to greet us and asked what our preferences were and what we were in the mood to eat, and wished us a good night after the meal. The hostess and waitress were also friendly and very accommodating. Also had the entire dining space to ourselves because of other events going on in the city that night-it was like our own personal restaurant. BEST dining experience I've had in Minneapolis! Would Definitely eat here again. Thank you all so much for a great night and Amazing food! :)

Celebrated our anniversary at Cosmos, and had a personalized five course menu. Every course was excellent, and the chef came to our table and explained each one. A very memorable meal!

Our 50th Anniversary dinner before the Willie Nelson/Alison Krauss concert was a wonderful date at Cosmos. We haven’t been for many years, but were completely satisfied with the choices and the entrees and appetizers, as well as Alicia’s helpful guidance and background on the chef’s preparations. We appreciated the complimentary anniversary chocolate vegan cake!

As a second time customer, I was so excited to go back to Cosmos as the first time I went there I was beyond impressed both with the food and the service. I am sorry to say, this time was so very disappointing. Our waitress had no knowledge of the menu, the food was mediocre at best, several items were missing from each dish that was ordered. (Dessert was joke, im positive I could have gotten better food at McDonalds.) The best thing I can say is that the kept our water glasses full.

Big birthday followed by 2CELLOS concert. First time at Cosmos, originally chosen because of it’s good ratings, close proximity to Target Center. However, it turned out to be a fabulous choice for Cosmos independent of the concert venue. The four of us really enjoyed the food and the service, the warm ambiance was an enhancement. Looking forward to a return visit.

Went here for Valentine's day, took me a while to write this review but it needed to be said. OVERPRICED prixe fix menu. Didn't know we only had one option for food when we made the reservation, and by the time we got seated we realized we had no choice. We were starving so didn't want to leave, where else could we go on Valentines day? Food could have been a LOT better for what we paid. Don't come here unless you are just getting drinks. There are many, many decent to excellent restaurants in Minneapolis where you can get better quality food for less money than this. Totally NOT worth the money.

We went there for the Xmas buffet on Dec 25. I was rather late looking for a Xmas day restaurant so there weren't many options left. My husband prefers buffets for the options. So we picked Cosmos. Yes it was a buffet with some more upscale options like shrimp and cab legs ( small) but otherwise rather limited. They obviously chose to put out out just enough for the number of reservations they had for that seating. I was rather slow so there wasb't much left of some items and I noticed items were not replenished. The mini desserts were quite good bu quickly got picked over so there wasn't much left. Oerall too pricey for $65/per for what was there.

The food was delicious and an enticing buffet for Thanksgiving. A tasty assortment of food. Service was okay. The value for the meal was very good. It was quiet so we could have a nice family conversation. The best part of the meal was table spacing. We weren't crowded and bumpy chairs with the next table.

My boyfriend and I went for his 29th birthday, and the restaurant was completely dead. No one was at the host stand, just 3-4 people were sitting at the bar. I finally walked around and the bartender stopped me, and I said I had a reservation. Thankfully there was one other table of 6 girls on a bachelorette party so we weren't the only ones, but the ambiance wasn't what I was expecting. Thankfully, the delectable food and impeccable service made up for the lacking milieu. We also got to try two appetizers that weren't on the menu for free! Despite the odd beginning, we truly enjoyed our time, got to talk to the chef, had delicious drinks, and will be back. They apparently have some mushroom dinner that you purchase tickets for, and I'd love to go to that.
