We took our family there after going there 10yrs ago. And it was a complete rip off. The fondue just tasted like Kirsch, there wasn’t much at all of it in quantity; considering you pay $118 for 2 people, we expected a bit more. The Racklette wasn’t even presented the traditional way, which is confusing because it’s supposed to be a Swiss restaurant. I lived in Switzerland for 6yrs and all of the foot was not at a good standard. Even the staff were not Swiss but Colombian. There was no ambiance in the atmosphere or food. We complained about the fondue tasting so strong and nothing was deducted from our bill even though we had to leave the food because it was inedible. We paid over $300 for a few pickles and some stale bread. It was very disappointing. Definitely will never go back.

We had a great experience. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and well presented. My only suggestion would be to add more variety to the menu. Overall, it’s a solid dining spot I’d gladly return to and recommend to others.

We had a great dinner at Edelwyss! We shared the cheese fondue and some desserts and the food was delicious. I will definitely come back whenever I feel homesick :)

We came for the cheese fondue and will be back for more. Due to staff shortage, we were fortunate to be served by the Head Chef which made our experience even more memorable. We started our meal with the cervelat salad wich was well balanced in flavour with a light and creamy dressing. Our cheese fondue which came next exceeded our expectations. The aromas of white wine and Kirsch were well incorporated in the creamy and rich cheese fondue. It came with plenty of artisan sourdough, potatoes, apples and cornichons. We enjoyed our added Weisswurst and Rahmschnitzel as well. Unfortunately, they were the reason that we were too full to try any of the desserts. The cherry on the cake of our visit was the knowledge of the friendly waiter about the swiss club, its heritage and the interesting historic details if the place. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon

We made a dinner reservation just an hour before dining here. They were pretty busy when we arrived so we’re glad we made a booking. We had a nice dinner with the most amazing garden salad, which included lovely greens, avocado slices, beets, tomatoes and more. It was super fresh and really a bargain for nine dollars. Shhh . . . Don’t want to say that too loud loudly as I don’t want them to raise their prices!! One of us had the RahmSchnitzel with spätzli and broccolini & the other opted for the three course meal which started with a plate of bresaola and salami and olives and pickles, and then a main course of Schnitzel with Rösti. The dessert was a Toblerone chocolate mousse. the meal also include two beers and two glasses of red wine. The total came to $177 AUD. The chef even came out after our meal and sat with us and chatted for a few minutes. We had a really wonderful evening and we’re glad that we dined here.

Great European/Swiss Ambience - fantastic food. This is a hidden gem in the centre of the CBD. Authentic Swiss Cuisine - even better than in Switzerland.
