Food was good but the service was subpar. This was the second time I have been to Lucy and the service is too slow and subpar. Management needs to work on improving the dining experience in such an expensive wine country establishment. It is very disappointing.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It is an elegant but casual place in terms of the excellent service and beautiful food presentation. The outdoor space with water features and planting is lovely. I love the cheese board, the burgers and the fish entrees. As a resident of Yountville, I frequently dine locally. This is my favorite place in the town for a meal or relaxing glass of wine and appetizers.

It wasn’t a great experience. I waited a couple years before returning to the restaurant, because the previous experience was not good either. We had an early reservation at 6 o’clock in the restaurant only had a couple other tables seated at the time we were there. It took forever to get our food and when we got our food, it was cold and we had to send all the plates back that had halibut on them. When our plates were returned to us, the fish was a bit more on the dry side by then, but at least the food was hot. The flavor of everything was very good, but it just took way too long to be served. Our waitress was not very attentive to our table either.

My wife and I dined at Lucy Restaurant last night. We sat out doors the setting was terrific and the food was great. The service was friendly and attentive. From the second we arrived to our departure the staff could not have been more professional!

My breakfast at Lucy's was excellent. It started when I walked onto the beautiful property and was greeted by everyone. My next best moment was meeting Jayd Birdsell, she was like meeting an old friend for coffee and catching up. She was very gracious and welcoming. My next best moment was our waiter, Gaberiel Ramirez, who greeted us by our name and very attentive. My husband asked for hot chocolate, which was not on the menu, Mr Ramirez made him a cup anyway, very nice. I have had dinner at Lucy's several times on recent visits, first time for breakfast. Ms. Birdsell and Mr. Ramirez made this an awesome visit, cant wait to come back next year.

While the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff very friendly, the food was quite disappointing. We started with arancini. We received 6 little arancini, which were a 4-cheese filled with rice. An ample portion, but the arancini were a bit dry and flavorless. Next was a large field greens salad with beets, goat cheese, and candied walnuts. This dish was perfect. Dressed correctly and the cheese and beets did not overwhelm the greens. Next was the house special soup-tomato bisque. Again, a large portion of a thick, too pungent, slightly spicy soup. Really, a tiny cup was all I could handle as the flavor was way too intense to eat more than a few spoonfuls. Our main courses were the halibut and a pasta dish. Both were overcooked. The halibut was dry and difficult to cut. It was presented with a corn sauce on the side. A thick, sweet paste that also covered some fingerling potatoes. The pasta was a thickish, gummy dish. I will say the portion sizes were very generous, but given the quality, it didn't really matter.

Great place for excellent food, service and ambiance. The staff are incredibly pleasant and gracious and the food is beautifully prepared and served. The outdoor patio and water features are beautiful for relaxing. One of my favorite places in the Napa Valley.

Not worth it. Although the restaurant was almost empty, it took them a very long time to have the meals served. The wines weren't at a good temperature and the cocktails weren't good either.

We’ve been fans of Lucy’s for years. Always happy with everything there except once. Yesterday we brought guests and the experience was lovely and food was good but not regular Lucy standard. Halibut was little dry/overcooked and small but tasty. Desert was beautiful and good. We are Napa residents so love Lucy’s.

A beautiful place to have a meal, especially on the outside patio. The service is impeccable. Their salads are delicious, especially the Cobb salad. They also have a delicious burger and fries at lunch time. Highly recommend Lucy's.

Extremely disappointing, the Caesar salad was flavourless, no substance to dressing, very poor quality. The spaghetti with clams was sitting in a pool of water, had no flavour, pasta way overcooked. Service unqualified and no attention paid to client. For a hotel of that quality to have a restaurant like that is terrible, would not recommend to anyone.

Friendly and happy staff from the parking valet to the hostess, bartender, and table server. Food was excellent! The restaurant was not busy for a Saturday night. We started with the soups - both delicious, though one arrived on the cool side and was quickly corrected by our server. We did notice that we were not offered any bread and/or crackers with our soup, and salt and pepper was missing from the tables. The pasta arrabiata was memorable!!!

We were visiting Yountville with our golden retriever. We wanted to find a place that was pet friendly and as it turned out Lucy was more than that. It’s part of a hotel and outdoor seating was quiet and peaceful. Had plenty of space for our pet as well. Good quality was great. I ordered the duck and it was wonderfully done. They also have a menu for your pet along with a welcome treat. Our servers were VMware, courteous and informative. Overall it was a great place for food, ambiance and peace.

The staff was amazing, the food was amazing, the ambiance was breathtaking & exhilarating. We loved the artwork sculptures of the statues, the gardens, and waterfalls all around the restaurant and hotel. Our server was great she did an outstanding job taking care of us. The stars was out, the weather was perfect and my lady made everything beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!

What a wonderful experience! Lucy is just totally off the charts for a restaurant in a hotel. Well, that is what people would normally say. Lucy is the food part of Bardessono. This is a place to stay in the Napa Valley where you feel like royalty just being there. The attention to detail and the total thoughtfulness is apparent everywhere including the food. This is where you go if you want to feel special. We have traveled for a long time, and this was just such a treat. They make you feel like you are the only guest. The food was great both for dinner and breakfast. If you are just staying somewhere else, just put Lucy on your list to call for reservations!
