   We had the eggs Benedict and it was amazing! Great service and they even brought us champagne since it’s our honeymoon!

   Valet staff and server were great. The hotel and grounds were beautiful. Food was mediocre…brisket hash had only a few shreds of beef in it, they were out of English muffins (eggs Benedict on sourdough just not the same), burger overcooked and unseasoned. They did provide a mixed pastry basket and complimentary dessert for Mother’s Day which was nice. We were there for brunch and there was no bartender yet so the craft cocktails were just thrown together cocktails and the mimosa was very uninspiring. The lack of a bartender also meant that the bar in the lobby was being used as a work space for the hotel with empty pastry boxes, etc scatted on it. The other miss was that it felt like it was a hotel. I know it is a hotel, but to have room service carts barreling through the reception and outdoor area was distracting to the ambience. I think if I was a guest of the hotel I could have overlooked it, but I wasn’t.

   Great service from Yoel (Joel?). Food was excellent. Everyone working at Lucy’s is very customer friendly & focused. Love eating there.

   “Brisket hash” had 1 ounce of brisket at the maximum. Hash was underseasoned. Waffles were so-so - berry compote was chantily cream were way too sweet. Waiter was very kind to comp us one of our meals due to slow service - we didn’t ask him to do that and it was appreciated. Wouldn’t come back.

   I love Bardessono. The service from everyone here is absolutely excellent. Rooms are beautiful, clean and private. We will be back soon.

   My husband and I had breakfast at Lucy, as part of our stay at Bardessono Hotel. Brisa was our server and the service was lovely. Our drinks (hot tea for me and juice for the hubs) were served quickly. Our breakfast came out shortly thereafter, and the food itself was equally as fabulous as the service. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, a hearty and rather large plate with deliciously seasoned French fries (was that Old Bay?) and a huge serving of scrambled eggs. We also ordered the smoked salmon plate, which included a perfectly toasted bagel and super fresh salmon with yummy pickled onions. We're going back again for a hearty breakfast tomorrow after our planned hike, because it was THAT GOOD. You can't go wrong here!

   Lucy is so under utilized. Tourists don't come this foody haven to eat in a hotel restaurant but Lucy shouldn't be thought of that way. I wrote a review early in our 12 year tenure in Yountville that when the famous restaurants tell you there is a spot at 5:15 or 8:45, go to Lucy! Or go anyway. In good weather (most of the year) it is beautiful in the outside shady or sunny (you choose) seating areas. The hotel itself is loaded with interesting art. On the outside find your way to "Stonehenge".) We went for dinner on Valentines Day a couple of weeks ago, and lunch today. Food excellent both times; service just a smidge slow but perhaps intentionally so as it is such a lovely spot.

    Wonderful experience at Lucy's today. Such a pleasant and calming environment. Our server, Anna, was wonderful and tended to every detail. Both of our lunches were outstanding! The wonderful experience helped us decide to book a stay for several days there later this year. Looking forward to that and more visits at Lucy's.
