My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Long Island Café last evening. The filet mignon was exceptional, and my husband loved his flounder and shrimp dish. Our server, Lynn, was outstanding—knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Food is good. We ate outside so ambience is traffic rolling through parking lot. Noise level is not too bad; might be louder inside.

LOVE this restaurant! Always the best in my opinion and have to eat at LICafe’ once or twice while in Isle of Palms!

Excellent food and service, with generous serving sizes (half will be tonight’s dinner). Very busy and loud but enjoyable!

We have been customers of Long Island Cafe since it opened many years ago. We have always found their food delicious and all the staff members friendly...until this past weekend. We made our usual reservation for the dining room and not the bar. A waitress tried to seat us in the bar. We asked not to eat in the bar. As we were being seated in the main room, the manager rudely told us that seating location is not guaranteed. Service and food were outstanding as usual. The only thing leaving a bad taste in our mouths was the unwelcoming words from the manager.

Terry, the bartender, started our experience off for the night. Fabulous bartender and also described the menu to us prior to our seating. It was a great start to an amazing evening, food and drink.

Hostess was allowing walk ins to be seated before customers with reservations if they “could be done” by a certain time. Manager and hostess were thrown a loop simply be having a Door Dash order. I had to wipe my own table down to avoid sticking my elbow in some unknown gunk left by the previous patron. Flies landed in our hair. We waited forty-five minutes to be sat and then waited over an hour for our food. Waiter forgot my daughter’s she crab soup and my salad, but the worst part was that, when reminded, he was dismissive. Our drinks sat empty for over thirty minutes.
