   Never having gone to a Japanese restaurant before I was not sure what to expect and so I gave our waitress the amount our party wanted to spend and we asked her to chosen what we should eat. The result was that we had a well balanced and very tasty meal which comes under the recommended bracket, throughly enjoyable and a different eating experience.

   Went for a birthday and had a great time. Super friendly restaurant and great atmosphere. Very good food, will definitely be back soon.

   I think we had an unfair experience, but I have to go off what happened. Ordered two different cocktails…. Told they didn’t have them. Ordered Sushi…… Told there was no sushi (the main reason my wife wanted to go). The mains we did order were delicious. Very happy with what we get. Unfortunately, the table and seating had not been cleaned properly, which resulted in a bright red sticky sauce all over my wife’s leg and stained her dress. Left to clean it up ourselves despite asking numerous times for a wet cloth and pointing out the issue to two separate members of staff. Owner was very apologetic, and did reduce the bill by 20% and offered free desserts. However by this point our anniversary dinner was somewhat ruined. We were not that fussed about dessert at this point but felt we should try something to share…. And we’re told the one we wanted wasn’t on the menu. So a disappointing first time. Unfortunate experience. If we went back it would definitely not be for a special occasion, it would be if passing and want a light bite to eat.

   This restaurant tucked off main shopping area was an amazing find it exceeded our expectations. We booked online as it seemed from reviews it would be busy.Table was ready on time service was exceptional they recommended a cocktail and food was delicious, even the toilets are great.We were also told about themed events the restaurant holds. Will be visiting again.

   Food was As Good was as good as the first time we visited around 6 weeks ago. However, the service was a real let down. Delivery of food was very slow and several key items were missing from the order when it did arrive. The server had no idea what should be included with each dish and, when, eventually we convinced her items were Missing, they arrived after another lengthy delay. We raised it and apologies were made - There was a new chef and front of house staff. Clearly comms has broken down between the chef and servers as to what was In each dish. We will go back as it was so wonderful the first time and I suspect this was just a training/experience issue. It is a unique experience, definitely worth a try.

   Amazing service! Went there for a birthday dinner and was not disappointed. The servers were lovely, the food was excellent and the restaurant overall looked amazing! They even had people to explain the menu for us, i would be coming back again to try the hotpot. 10/10 ⭐️

   Really lovely family meal for my wife’s birthday. Outstandingly friendly service, and the theatrics of food cooked at table, made for a memorable meal. Nice vibe and tasty food. Will be back!

    We went at lunch time (early was only just 12:00). Service was excellent, was quick and informative when we had questions. We had the meal deal which was excellent value with a few extras. They also went above considering we had a birthday.
