We come for the Rigatoni Ala Vodka anytime we're in town. Best I've ever had! And the outside dining views are gorgeous every time

Not a bad place. Very, very, very small dishes. Prices are a bit high for the amount of food that you get. I ordered lobster ravioli and unfortunately it was luke warm at best when served. My daughter ordered a Mediterranean salad, slight larger than a side salad and it was I believe $24, my husband got an Italian dish that he said was good, but maybe had a a few strands of pasta and his dish was $30+. Overpriced for fair food, however, this is a resort town so I am sure they are charging the going rate.

Actually, we ate there twice! Ashley and Maja were wonderful servers. Everything was great! It is a nice restaurant to enjoy an adult dining experience in a town that could be over run with young hockey players, if you get my drift!

The restaurant was very busy with a 45 min. wait for non-reservations. They were short of help because most of their help went back to school, but their staff did a terrific job handling the volume. The restaurant is multi-level and the servers had to go up and down the stairs with trays of drinks and food. We were on the lower level and our server who was working all the tables on that floor by herself was fabulous. The food was great, pricing fair and service was the very best you could experience.

The service on the night we dined here was total chaos. I was able to reserve a table on Open Table with no wait, but walk-ins were told it would be a 90 min wait. We were seated relatively quickly, was given a glass of water, and then waited for 20 minutes before anyone came back to take our order - that just happened to be the host who was checking in guests at the front and was also bussing tables. There were only 4 people actually working the dining area that we could see and there didn’t appear to be any organization to who was doing what. Despite the wait to order, the food came quickly and was good, not great. Average Italian fare, good size portions. Don’t know that I’d go out of my way to dine here again.

We vacationed in Lake Placid for the weekend and ate at Jimmys the first night we arrived (as we have several other times). The food was delicious- we were looking for Italian food. We were seated and served promptly. We had reservations. Our waiter was excellent. He accommodated a change to the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant for a high quality, casual meal.
