At Ember & Vine, located in the beautifully renovated DoubleTree Cranberry, guests enjoy a bountiful breakfast buffet with made-to-order omelets from the open, display kitchen. The lunch and dinner menus take a simple approach with great ingredients; salt, pepper, and fire coupled with carefully selected local ingredients are the main focuses of the classic American cuisine. The woodfire American cooking is showcased with handcrafted flatbreads and desserts, baked mac ‘n cheese, and butter-roasted oysters with fresh thyme. Regional fare and creative pizzas lead the selection of entrees; the large assortment of appetizers, small plates, and comfort foods blend together taste and nostalgia, allowing guests to customize their dining experience from one day to the next. Upscale wines poured from the wine dispensing unit, local craft brews, and signature cocktails are in line with the spacious, comfortable atmosphere.

We love this place and come often, but this night was terrible. No one was at the host stand to seat us for 20 minutes. Multiple orders were messed up with my friend getting her corrected meal when the rest of us were almost finished. It seemed like the waitress was off doing something else as we rarely saw her and were waiting for our bottle of wine and beverages for quite a while.

Very average buffet food for Mother’s Day. Nothing special. We had higher expectations for the $39 per person. Omelet station was limited with choices as I found it odd not to have the ingredients to make a true Western Omelet or mushroom omelet—two very popular options. Mimosas were overpriced at $6 each. This brunch doesn’t compare to the Grand Concourse as it’s not in the same league.

Would have liked to have seen a more sophisticated menu for a $40 Mother’s Day brunch. However, the food was very good.

Food quality has taken a nose dive since it first opened. We had a wood fired maragarota pizza for $14 that was pathetically garnished with one bite of tomato ,cheese and I little sliver of basil. Once you took one bite, the rest was crust (and I think premade at that). The crab cakes were 90% filler for $12. We will not be back

There were very few people there, but the food and drinks were very good. The location being in the atrium of the hotel was a bit odd, but it wasn’t noisy (which you might expect). Overall we really enjoyed our dinner. The cauliflower appetizer was excellent as was the duck Reuben.

Food was great, the cocktails were pretty good, but the limited menu (much more limited than any online resources showed) was hugely disappointing. Went in expecting a lot more options and we were told that the menu was redone recently. Happy with what we got, but just keep that in mind.

My husband and I wanted a quiet dinner out and had never tried Ember and Vine. The staff was very attentive and sat us in a very nice spot near the brick oven chefs. We loved the wine and the food. The menu was small but all choices looked good. Salad wasn't on the menu as a side or an entree but they met our request to have a house salad. We will definitely go again when we get another chance. The double tree foyer is just beautiful. We got married there when it was a Four Points Sheraton so that hotel has special significance for us.

First time here and visited during Restaurant Week. The staff was very pleasant and it was very quiet considering your in the open courtyard of a hotel. We started with the wood-fired oysters (delicious) and then we stayed with the 4 course restaurant week menu. Everything was amazing!

This place kept popping up through friends and thanks to restaurant week, we finally took a chance. It was fantastic from beginning to end! The service was great, everyone was friendly, the food was awesome, and the place is very nice and well maintained. The only down side, in my opinion, is that all of the tables and the bar are right out in the hotel lobby area. It's not a separate room. Still really enjoyed it!

We were there on New Year's Eve. There was a limited menu, which is to be expected on a holiday. However, the choices were not too great!! There was only one seafood option, salmon, which was just okay. Would have preferred more seafood options.

With exception to my last visit the food, staff, chef and atmosphere are exceptional. My last visit was New Years Eve and our waiter was new and didn’t know much about the menu. Where he was lacking the manager picked up and the dinner was a nice experience. Some suggestions to improve would be- training staff, educating bartenders and doing something about the acoustics for the band. I love that the chef came out to ask about a special request. Very classy!

I loved nearly everything about my experience here. Our waitress was a delight, and the food was among the best I've had in YEARS! The Ember and Vine is very expensive (more than one hundred dollars for dinner for two that did not include a bottle of wine), but the food is so good that it's worth it. There was a bit more noise than I would have preferred, caused primarily by the fact that the Ember and Vine doesn't have walls -- it simply exists, open air, in the middle of the DoubleTree's lobby. You enter it by checking in at a little booth that doesn't even say, "Ember and Vine" on it. I would have preferred a sign, a door, walls and less noise coming from live music on the other side of the bar (from the way people were dressed, it might have been a wedding party). Nevertheless, I absolutely LOVED this place, and will return any time I have an occasion special enough to justify spending that kind of money.

The food and selection was excellent. The wait staff was attentive. I thought the decorations were more festive last year. We did not even have a table cloth this year. Despite making our reservations quite some time ago, we were seating at the first table closest to the door. It was rather cold with the front door opening and closing so frequently. There were empty tables towards the back that would have been warmer. It felt as if we were not even part of the festivities. I was a little disappointed with our table and was cold.

Had reservations for 5 PM and had to wait for 10 minutes for someone to be manning the Maitre D desk! Service was very good (when it came) no one else was even in the dining area-all attention was on the wedding party around the bar. Meal was fine though small portion's and salad separate and no side dish for my small serving of salmon. The Filet Mignon was terrific though the Cajun style sauce too much for my date who had stomach discomfort later. Wouldn't have hurt in the design to have a "bank" of more segregated booth's rather than the "Food Court" appearance for all seating-especially at the Dinner menu prices! All-in-All I guess it was fine.

We didn't eat there - we were expecting a different environment - didn't have the ambience for us. Enjoyed a glass of wine and waitress gave us good service. It is definitely not a Saturday night date venue. Maybe another time. hard to give ratings without trying anything; hence the low ratings.

We tried the Sunday Brunch at Ember & Vine on Father's Day and are very glad we did. They offered a good selection of brunch foods, all of which were very well prepared. I personally appreciated that they had a number of gluten free offerings. The servers were very helpful and particularly accommodating of the baby in our party. We were amazed when the check came - it was about half the cost of a brunch downtown (and the parking was free!). An all-round good experience, and we'll definitely be back.

Our experience was wonderful at Ember and Vine for our 1st wedding anniversary. I had eaten previous to this with my Mom and we had just as great experience. My only complaint, I got the bacon Mac and cheese both times and the first time, the bacon was cut into little squares and it was perfect!! This time, they seemed to have cut them in slivers? Like stringy noodle types and it wasn’t as good.
