We ordered two cauliflower soups, a vegetable entree, a vegetable side, and one bottle of sparkling water. The bill was $90.
Brunch menu was good but wish you had better coffee. Every time the door opened the wind and cold blew in.
Super cold if you sit near the door
Food not so great...ambiance was nice! The waiter was not very accommodating and did not seem to be interested. The food was doused in truffle oil which was too much.
Food was meh, average at best and a little overpriced even for NY. Service was also barely average. Our waiter did the bare minimum. We had to ask for our drinks because he clearly forgot to bring them out. Next time try asking how everything is, ya know, pretty standard stuff imo.
Food is always on point. Love this place! The food never disappoints!
The innovative menu is like no other, and the service is outstanding.
I have returned a number of times on the basis that the food is great, despite poor service. I am losing my patience though - the service is really bad, and perhaps not worth the great food.
Great options, good service. Menu is slightly pricey for lunch, but prix fixe option was available and a great deal. Portions are generous. Will definitely return.
Great place for vegetarians, many options. Local option in Bryant Park. Decent portion size for New York prices.
Trendy, Instagramable but overpriced. Small portions, lukewarm fried chicken. Disappointing overall, especially given the price.
Great location - excellent food - service a little off when very busy. I had breakfast at L'Adresse a week before and it was delightful. As it was early the service was great and the food was perfect. I booked for Sunday brunch and again the food was excellent but service was not less than what I was expecting - too few service people for a fully booked restaurant. With better service it would have been a 5 star review on all counts.
We were going for a pre theatre dinner for 7 so were in a bit of a rush. The waitress brought the wrong entree, salmon instead of duck. I believe the basic thing a waiter needs to do is bring you the food you ordered. She did not seem very smart and for all I know was new to the job. We spoke to a manager and she did all she could to make things up, like not charging for the salmon. The thing is, the whole experience was pretty ruined because the waitress screwed up. I also didn't think the food was any better than average, although it was hard to enjoy it given the circumstances.
First time here, atmosphere is good, it's a little loud but you can have a conversation. Service was slow and the food was good. we had a couple of communication missteps, for instance asking for vinegar and oil for a salad ended up with just oil, when I asked for balsamic vinegar I got balsamic syrup. I'm not sure why that happened.
Eclectic menu, fresh tasting entrees, efficient service and clean, cheerful, bright atmosphere.
I was very disappointed in the service. I had to ask for our waiter three times in order to take our order. Twice to get the check. Our experience was 45 min longer than it should have been because of these delays. And then when i discovered they charged for coffee refills - that was the nail in the coffin.
Great spot to people watch through the window, have a date, or get some quiet time to recharge for the day. My breakfast was just right and the service was as good as it gets. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for, especially in a city like New York.
I was disappointed with our experience. We had a 10:30 am brunch reservation, and were told upon seating that we had 2 hours for our meal before the next seating. This was the first time in my life I have been given a time limit for having a meal at a restaurant. The waiter was probably new, and spilled water on the bench and table, but only cleaned up the bench - we used napkins to clean the table mess. We waited more than 10 minutes to be offered coffee. When you only have 2 hours for your meal, every minute counts. I ordered the shakshuka, which was tasty. However, the eggs were overcooked - the yolks were solid and crumbly - and the shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. I would not return to this restaurant, and would not recommend it.
Excellent service and food! We were a group of 5 long lost family members, we each ordered something different and everyone's food was so tasty.
I went there for business dinner. The reservation was pretty easy and convenient. The restaurant has a large dining area. It wasn’t crowed when we came there so noise was ok. But I can imagine that it could be loud if restaurant is fuller.
Our food was good but nothing outstanding for the price. I had steak with truffle fries and it was very good. I do not recommend the espresso or coffee if you’re used to Italian coffee.
This is my favorite restaurant in NYC! My friend from Boston was visiting and this was the perfect place for a nice bottle of wine and some appetizers. We got the calamari, scallops and truffle fries- everything was amazing! The dessert was superb as well- we got the chocolate hazelnut cake. Our service was excellent- attentive and personable, great recommendations for wine that paired nicely with our food. Can’t wait to return!
Good option in the neighborhood for a good lunch spot that is relaxed
Go to lunch place in Bryant Park area. Few options like L’Adresse. Good service, tasty, unfussy food. Food is pure to ingredients and not overly seasoned. Have been there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Patronize about once every one / two weeks. Never disappoints. Keep up the good work and food.
Excellent good midtown spot and great service. Close to train, park, shopping
The food here was fantastic! We had the Grilled Octopus with the Black Rice as well as the Pelmeni and I must say, it did not disappoint! The pelmeni were very much reminiscent of home Russian couisine! The ambiance was very soothing and quiet.
I've enjoyed taking guests here for business lunches.
Really good vibe. Excellent menu options. Attentive service. Lattes are tge best!!!
Really nice room, excellent service. Breakfast skillet was good, as was the fresh orange juice. The french toast was uninspired. Considering the location - excellent value.
I arrived a bit earlier than my reservation but the host accommodated me right away. The restaurant has a modern look with very close tables next to one another. We sat and ordered the raf coffee, very sweet if you aren’t into sweets (it is categorized under sweet coffee). We also ordered the salmon avocado toast with poached egg and matcha french toast. The servers were attentive and nice. Plating was neatly crafted. The matcha french toast, although very small in portions, was to die for. The toast was so heavenly. Texture is very soft but didn’t feel mushy. It was perfect. I wish they had big portions for this one, it’s a must-try. The salmon avocado toast was alright. Not too bad. It didn’t have much of a flavor other than the smoked salmon. The toast was very chewy as I had trouble separating the pieces with my knife, especially the ends. Overall, not too bad just remember the portions are pretty small for the value of each dishes.
My favorite restaurant in midtown. Always a pleasure.
Had been looking forward to this meal from friend's recommendation. Perhaps our expectations were therefore to high. Although I have no real complaints, I can't say the meal was memorable. The location is great for pre- theater and there were several other items on the menu that sounded good so will probably be giving it another try.
Wonderful welcome with heart warming genuine smiles and great care (I was encouraged to switch to another table because I had a discomfort where I was, although the waitress had already brought my coffee and set everything up). The avocado toast was delicious and the coffee a complete treat. Flavorful, zero bitterness, smooth and neither too strong or too light. I enjoyed every sip and felt wonderful afterwards and the whole morning. It is rare to get quality food and nice decor at the same time in a touristic area. L’Adresse made it!
Love this place. Great food. Professional staff. Good atmosphere. Hidden gem.
I have dined at L'Adresse several times. The menu changes but I find the food to always be very good. I had the salmon over rice. The salmon was cooked as ordered (medium) and nice and crispy on the skin side. My friend ordered the burrata and tomatoes and brussel sprouts. Both were delicious. The table next to ours had the mushroom flat bread. It looked like a mushroom pizza and also looked wonderful. She told us it was. I had a nice mint tea after lunch made with fresh mint leaves.
The food is outstanding! Everything we tried was incredible. RAF coffee is a must! The service is lacking though. After we got our food we were left without a server for a couple of hours. Seemed like our server left for the day and nobody took over us. So we had to waive for another coffee, dessert and check.
Everything else is wonderful.
Food was amazing. We went at the end of brunch service, so getting the check took a lot longer than it should've. The window overlooks Bryant Park, which I enjoyed looking at.
The food was too expensive for the quality and quantity. May be this is Avenue of America in New York.
Top notch staff: patient, accommodating, attentive without being intrusive. The menu is delightful, it will be difficult to choose, but you can’t go wrong, everything was delicious.
Fabulous borscht! Very nice variety of entrees on the menu.
Such a fantastic dining experience every time.
There is no pretension, excellent service.
Upon walking in, they gave us (2 ppl) and booth for 4 when requested as it was still early and not full.
I loved that they were so gracious and sweet about it (most places are not).
Our server was knowledgeable and kind.
The food is creative and excellent quality ingredients.
Not too much, the portions are perfect.
The sour cream/graham desert at the end was the cherry on the perfect cake!
I am still dreaming of it....
