Niagara's Finest Thai
Friday Saturday 1130am-10pm
Best Thai I've had in a long time. Oir dinner was delicious. Server was knowledgeable and helpful.
We've been twice and enjoyed the door and service each time. Recommended to friends who also enjoyed.
Our server, Sue was engaged and genuinely friendly. Will definitely revisit when in NOTL.
Wonderful! Had driven passed the restaurant a couple times during our visit. Unsure of dinner plans, set an impromptu reservation and 15 minutes later, showed up to a great restaurant! The hostess was exceptional and knowing we booked through open table, got us a great table at the window. Food amazing. You gotta try it!
Delicious meal for 6 with excellent service and advice from Sue!
Sorry, but I had way better thai food for much lower price. Food was overly sweet. Also, I didn't find the staff was very welcoming. All restaurants in Niagara on the Lake was exceptional, but this one didn't give me the same experience.
One of our favorites in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The food is delicious, the service pleasant, and the restaurant is just steps away from the Festival Theatre.
This is not the greatest Thai food that I have eaten but if you are looking for Thai food in the Niagara region it is as good as it is going to get. Pleasant place to have lunch with a friend.
Absolutely wonderful! We had a hard time finding vegetarian food in NOTL but were so lucky to find this place.
Consistently great Thai food. Tried the red curry this last visit. It was excellent.
We went to The Friendly Thai pre-theatre. Two of three liked their meals, one found it mediocre. We've had better Thai elsewhere but it's not bad, and reasonably priced for Niagara-on-the-Lake (not to say it's cheap, the whole town is expensive for restaurants). Service was pretty good although dessert took a long time. Servers were very pleasant and eager to please.
We were a group of 12 enjoying a pre-Shaw dinner. The food was great, service excellent and just a short walk to Shaw’s Featival theatre. I will go back.
I went with a group of friends. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and answered our questions/offered suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend for groups or on a date - it is a fun and casual atmosphere.
Great addition to the Niagara on the Lake dining scene
A truly lovely dining experience at Niagara's Finest Thai Restaurant! The service was truly friendly, informative, and most welcoming. The food we ordered, every course, was absolutely wonderful in presentation and delicious. We loved our Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken, Stir-fried Mixed with Shrimp, and especially the Thai Ice Tea. Highly recommend reservations to this exceptional restaurant!
We ate at Niagara's Finest Thai as it offered the best vegan options we could find in the area. The dishes are marked as vegan and are delicious. The staff are friendly and the drinks are great.
Server was attending, knowledgeable and efficient. Explained dishes and made great suggestions on sauses and pairings. Food was fresh and tasty. Kitchen is open to watch cooks and extremely clean.
Excellent food and attentive but not overbearing service. The menu is relatively short: four basic dishes with three variations on each (three noodle, three curries + choice of protein). Overall, really great food. Very busy dining room.
Great option for a reasonable priced meal in a town full of highly priced restaurants. Very good food, very clean atmosphere, they truly appreciate your business.
We ate in the restaurant in a past. The service was good, so was the food. This time it was awful. We had a reservation for 6:15, it was before the play, which started at 8 pm. The appetizer came promptly more or less, but the main dish in an hour, and it was a fish dish. It was 7:20 when the dish arrived, and it was soooooo spicy, just impossible to eat. On the menu it was the most mild fish option(a little spicy). We left upset, and we will never be back!!! Oh, when we asked the waitress why it took so long, she gave a weird explanation, which made no sense. No apology, nothing.
We liked all the food we had at this convenient restaurant in NOTL . We ate there before the theater which was less than a block away. This is a very nice addition to the food options in this quaint tourist focused town.
Very goo, very spicy food. We had a terrific waiter.
Slow service - it should not take over an hour to receive an entree, especially when other diners arrived after us, ate and left before we received our entree. We had tickets to the Shaw at 7:00 performance, which the server was aware of, yet by 6:40 our meal had not yet arrived. We left without eating, as we didn't want to be late for the theatre. By the way, we had a reservation and arrived at 5:30....
Absolutely the best pineapple curry I've ever eaten and the soup was incredibly flavourful. They have vegan and vegetarian options. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Walking distance to the Shaw Theater. This is truly Niagara's finest thai! Highly recommend.
They are very open about their gluten free and gluten friendly options, it is written on the menu in red beside the menu item, however as we had someone with us who is celiac we also made a point of asking and found the staff to be very knowledgeable.
We stopped in after seeing a play. We ordered the appetizer for two and the eggplant. The appetizer is in my opinion overpriced. The spring rolls and fresh rolls were good. The shrimp was quite dry and the rest of the appetizer was shrimp chips. Not very imaginative.
The eggplant was quite tasty and spicy. It went very well with the jasmine rice and the beer.
The reason I chose this restaurant is because it was the only reasonably priced place in the area.
It is not somewhere to go for a romantic dinner or even conversation as it was quite loud. The server was
very good and personable.
I'm undecided if I would return. But, for N-O-T-L, it is a good deal.
Excellent food in a very relaxed atmosphere. The service was great!
Great food and service - our waitress was fantastic despite how busy she was - would totally go back.
Outstanding dinner! Flavors were over the top on every dish. Loved everything we ordered.
Restaurants near the Shaw Festival are expensive. This one is not and the food is good.
Service person completely out of her comfort zone!
All but ruined a great food experience!
Food very good, lovely ambience, knowledgeable staff.
We were seated promptly even though we arrived early. Our waitress, Marta, was attentive and very thorough in her description of the dishes. Portions were a nice size and meals were spicy (which we liked). Not overly expensive for the area.
This restaurant would make no accommodations for food allergies. The food was adequate; however, there were few choices for a severe gluten allergy. The service was good; the server was friendly and efficient.
Delicious Thai with great service. Interior design of restaurant is beautiful and adds to ambiance. Highly recommend.
Five of us attended for my daughter's birthday . The food was outstanding. The taste, the way they were presented and the service.
Jonathan is one of the best servers I think I have ever had.
Thank you to Niagaras Finest Thai and
Tasty food, excellent service
The food was very good but found that the 2 chili pepper indication for heat was a much higher heat level than what I normally receive for that rating. Found it somewhat noisy.
This was the third time we've eaten here.
Previously we've always been very satisfied with the food, the selection, and the service.
On this visit however, we had a 7:00 show to attend so we booked in advance online. We arrived right on time at for the 6:00 o'clock reservation. There was some initial confusion as to where to seat us, but it was resolved quickly.
Because we we feeling a bit rushed we thought we'd make it an easy order and so we skipped appetizers and alcohol, and ordered only one single dish each with some fruit juice; a stir fry item for my wife and the beef salad for me.
Then we waited...over 25 minutes we sat, getting more anxious. The server then dropped by to inform us that our meal was "up next". With more than 30 minutes now gone we were unsure of whether we'd have time to eat or have to cancel and leave.
Finally the food came and we asked for the bill so that there would be no further delay when we had to go. It came, and we paid in advance.
As to the food, my wife's was excellent. It looked beautiful and and was elegantly served. She thoroughly enjoyed it. My beef "salad" however, was underwhelming, not what I was expecting. The meat was OK but it was placed on top of two small pieces of lettuce and some onion slices then spicy sauce poured over everything.
It tasted OK but the lettuce was overpowered by the heat of the sauce and rendered limp and unappetizing. And of course there wasn't a lot of it to begin with.
Hardly a salad, just meat strips and sauce. And remember, this was all I had for my meal.
We made it in time for the show but we were not relaxed and I was still hungry.
This restaurant has become a new favourite when we are in NOTL and until Sunday we've always come away very pleased with everything.
This may have been an isolated situation, and to be fair, it was busy. However, it is servicing a theatre-going clientele and to be left seated & waiting 30 minutes for a simple food order should not happen.
Great food paired with good wines, and the friedliest service ever. I recommend it!
Food is very good, but portions are small. Waited nearly 30 minutes between appetizer and main course, and there was no explanation as to why.
