Niagara's Finest Thai
Ok for family night
It was amazing food I'm still dreaming about that coconut shrimp
My friends and I went to have lunch here this past weekend. We had the deep fried basa, chicken pad thai, red curry chicken and steamed rice. Everything was soooo good. The vegetables tasted fresh. The service was great, our waiter tended to talk too much, well he tried.
The food was very good and had adequate service from our server Marta.
Tried it for the first time the other day while visiting Niagara on the Lake. Very impressed with the food. Not the typical fast food Thai. Dan our server made the night a truly pleasurable experience. Thanks.
Very tasty food at an excellent value. Delighted to recommend this restaurant.
Best Thai!!! Yummy green Curry and vegetable Tom Yum soup.
Good location, beginning of town.
Delicious meal. Sue our server was fantastic. We enjoyed the Tom Yum soup, Pad See We, coconut rice with mango. Highly recommend and look forward to going back.
We've been visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake for many years and are always looking for dining options. Happily, we discovered Niagara's Finest Thai in a recent trip and continue to stop here with each subsequent vacation. Always glad to try delicious foods in delightful settings.
Menu confusing. Seemed not to be able to purchase just main dishes a la carte? The waitress was sweet but perhaps confused about the menu requirements? Overall: good and clean.
Fantastic experience! so good, we returned again for lunch the next day. Sue and Jon are wonderful servers. Super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Eggplant, pad Thai, spicy noodle, curries, satay. All amazing
Excellent restaurant with great food and attentive service. A bit on the pricy side with Thai food, but consistent with the other restaurants in the Niagara-on-the-Lake area.
Nice place that came recommended to us by a local bartender. The food was great, however the service was a little bit slow. Overall though, we liked it.
Appetizers were great. Entrees were just fair. Needed more seasoning. Ambience was ok. Our particular waiter was not for our taste.
Everything tasted wonderful and the service was great!
We visit NOTL several times a year, but this was our first trip to the Thai restaurant. We both love this type of food and were looking forward to the visit.
Unfortunately, very slow food preparation ruined an otherwise good evening. From the time we set down until we were served our main course was 1 hour and 15 minutes. Our waiter offered several apologies, but the wait was entirely too long.
We expected some type of complimentary reimbursement (maybe comp our drinks or the appetizer) but none was offered.
The food was very good and our waiter did his best for us, but the service out of the Kitchen was unacceptable.
There are too many offerings in and around NOTL to have to sit and wait on food for this amount of time.
The food was all delicious with the exception of the pad Thai. It had a very fishy taste. We are not new comers to pad Thai and have eaten it many times at many different restaurants however this was the most disappointing and unedible. The service was great and every other meal phenomenal.
The waitress was inattentive and the food was overdone and not tasty. Restrooms were filthy.
Great food and service
My girlfriend and I had a fabulous Thai lunch based on their noon specials. That day we were going to a Shaw Festival matinee performance of Brigadoon. We enjoyed each course of the lunch special. The service was attentive and lovely. It was pretty quiet in the restaurant therefore easy to have a nice conversation. I would definitely recommend Niagara's Finest Thai restaurant.
I would recommend if someone is looking for a new experience in Niagara-On-The-Lake. I would not recommend if looking for something outstanding.
I have had better Thai cooking and better prices.
We have been there several times and it is quite dependable that the food and the service will be quite good.
Very limited menu. Prices are too high for Thai food. We ordered the Basil beef - which was good. We also had the regular Pad Thai with chicken. It was unusually sweet! For an appetizer, we had the fresh rolls which were also good. We do wish there were more menu choices ... our favorites were not included. We are used to getting Kapow and Ka-Ree but they did not have those items. The cost of the food was much higher that what we are used to paying.
It was a quiet night and we came in towards the end. Food was OK but nothing really special. Service was a little slow and disorganized - although everyone was very nice.
Sur was an excellent setvrr. Grest suggestions snd very knowledgeable about theit food
We enjoyed the very tasty coconut soup and spring rolls to start. The flavour and freshness of the ingredients in the mixed vegetables and sweet & sour dishes was wonderful. Sue, our server was attentive without being over-bearing. She was knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the menu, since this was our first time visiting this restaurant.
The food was delicious and the server was discreet. The restaurant was spotless. I would recommend this restaurant.
Travel to niagara on the lake, and choose a Thai restaurant. The food are not bad
This was my first visit to Niagara's Finest Thai, and I can absolutely say that I will come back again. The food was incredibly flavourful, the chef was happy to accommodate my requested dietary alteration to my entree, great portion sizes. So satisfying! A fantastic experience and would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. I can't wait to try some other dishes on my next visit!
Our waitress was wonderful Naita not sure of spelling and they acknowledged our anniversary which was awesome.
Definitely will come back, thanks
First time here. Did not disappoint. Great server I'm sorry I didn't get his name. Helpful with menu and suggestions. Can't wait to return on my next visit to area.
This visit was the 4th time we've eaten here. The first 2 times were wonderful which is why we returned.
Sadly though the 3rd and 4th time we were left waiting at our table for our single entry orders, while all around us were being served appetizers, etc.
The second last time we had a 7:00 o'clock theatre and a 6:00 o'clock sitting so we skipped the extras and ordered drinks and a entries only thinking it would speed things up. It did not!
We waited nearly 45 minutes before receiving our meal and we had to ask for the check while eating in order to get out on time. We were annoyed but forgave the situation because it was very busy.
Yesterday's visit was a replay of this scenario, except it was worse.
Again, a 7:00 Theatre but we had a 5:30 sitting this time, and extra 30 minutes and the restaurant was about 80% capacity.
Again, we ordered entries only.
Again we waited close to an hour before we finally received our meal.
Again everyone around us was receiving appetizers and drinks while we sat, and sat, and sat.
There are some serious scheduling problems in the kitchen. It shouldn't take this long to make a plate of noodles and beef.
So that's done it for us. We're regular patrons of the Shaw, and until now, this restaurant.
But we shall not be returning.
Great food and service. Very good staff.Had Pad Thai and coconut soup lots of meat in both
Excellent Thai food. Four different dishes all fully enjoyed.
Sue was our waitress she is the best waitress there. Make sure you ask for her. Sue’s knowledge of the locale wines is excellent. She also gave us some excellent pairings for the meals we chose.
Best Thai we've ever had! Definitely be coming back.
We love the area, dine there three or four times a year, and try to avoid tourist traps. Always thought that the name of the place put it in the tourist category. But we read some reviews and gave it a try. Absolutely first rate on all counts. We can't wait to return.
If you’re looking for generous portions of minimally spiced dishes in a contemporary Thai-bistro setting this place is for you. Service was great- not rushed - and just attentive enough. We made a meal of appetizers and enjoyed it very much. Other diners’ meals looked beautiful and plentiful.
Niagara’s slowest Thai - It took an hour an a half for 2 courses.
Nice decor and easy parking. The restaurant was pretty quiet when we arrived (off season) and we were seated quickly.
The starters were tasty and we were looking forward to our mains.
We then waited for for an hour for our food. No offer of a free drink while we wait and we watched other couples wait for ages for their food. We were thanked for our patience when our food arrived. Our mains were ok, nothing to write home about but we were grateful they had finally arrived.
We both had noodle dishes that take about 6 mins to cook in other restaurants.
Arrived at 7.30 for a 7.30 reservation and left a little after 9. We had 2 courses.
