    Fantastic experience. Knowledgeable crew. Outstanding sushi. Tried chef’s flight nigiri, salmon lemon roll, yellowfin carpaccio. Worth every single penny. Amazing service, complementary extra’s that made us feel special. Quality of fish is above premium. Cocktails were impeccable.

    We were excited to try out O-ku because the photos on instagram looked very good. However, the dining experience was a big disappointment because it felt like O-ku over priced their food and beverage just because they can get away with it being in Charlotte. The nigiris and the rolls we had were pretty much like what you can get at a cheap Japanese restaurant. The fish didn’t taste fresh at all nor were any of them creative in the taste and presentation, vs the amount they charge. Rest assured, we will never visit O-ku again.

    My team and I went to dinner here to celebrate a win for one of our products and our food and service was outstanding! When they heard we were celebrating everyone from the hostess, food runner, to server congratulated us. Our server knew his fish well and gave us excellent recommendations. Will 100% be back next time we are in town.

    O-Ku Charlotte is by far my favorite Sushi restaurants in existence. The level of Customer Service is unmatched. The quality of the menu is amazing, I would recommend 100%. Our server Justin is absolutely the best ambassador I have ever encountered in the restaurant business, 10 out of 10!

    Always have an amazing time at O-ku — it is a favorite. The staff is super friendly, always welcoming you with a smile and great service. Love their personal recs. I’m a nigiri lover so usually focus on that part of the menu. Happy to keep coming back!

    Absolutely the best sushi spot in Charlotte. The ambiance, food, and service is amazing. Reminds me a lot of Nobu. My favorite dish is the Yellow Tail Carpaccio and favorite drink is the lychee martini! Menu reminds me of Nobu!

    O-Ku was my son’s choice for his 21st birthday. The staff could not have been kinder and sweeter. They all wished him a happy birthday and gave him some special treats. The food was delicious as always, particularly the super fresh fish. The rolls were good sized. The duck buns were very tasty. The server brought over samples of several sakes to help us choose. Thanks O-Ku for a memorable dinner.
