Nice atmosphere, we came here to just have a small quick bite. The all fresh and grilled oysters are delicious. We had to order another round of the grilled Kimichi Oysters because those were delicious! We ordered fish tacos very good and their drinks were decent, it did take about 30 min to receive our drinks, there was only one bartender and it wasn't busy. I will definitely be coming back to eat dinner and watch the sunset.

Another great experience . Took another chance on the shrimp and waffles and they were fantastic this time. First time we tried a few months ago, they were a bit overcooked . But everything was very flavorful. I do miss their non-alcoholic juice drinks they used to serve. Very nice staff (hostess and waiters) who were very attentive. We’ll be back soon.

Today’s experience was perfect. We’ve been to Salt Wood numerous times and it’s one of my boyfriend’s favorite places. We had one previous experience which wasn’t great. Jason the manager stepped up and definitely make it right with this visit. I have nothing bad to say. The waitress was great (forgive me I missed her name). Service, table, ambiance, food, drinks and overall visit was spot on. Oysters- fantastic! My 6 year old even had 3 of them! Kids catch of the day was halibut - my daughter ate it all. I tried is too- really good. Biscuits and gravy- delish! Shrimp and waffles- this was got me. It didn’t sound appealing, but it was a very pleasant surprise. It’s coconut fried shrimp with honey walnuts and they use coconut in the waffle batter. It was delicious. Maple bacon and chicken sausage was tasty too. All in all it was a very good visit. Back on our list of good spots to frequent.

Almost every dish was over spiced with chili peppers. Spice was not mentioned on the menu. Some dishes verged on inedible and were pricy to boot. A big disappointment after many happy dining experiences at Saltwood. We will wait until they get a new chef and menu before returning.

We had our dog so we enjoyed our dinner by a fire pit on the patio. Very comfortable and friendly staff. The food was especially delicious. We both shared Baby Gen salad, and the bread with sea salt butter. So good. And we also both ordered the crab and lobster pasta. Generous amounts of crab and lobster with soft delicious pasta in a brown butter sauce-perfection!

It was busy and we did love our waitress- ordered bread but it was forgotten - clam chowder was awesome and the added bread for that was cold :( but good. My husband ordered the grilled fish with curry and the flavor was amazing . Loved it. Will return
