This is our “go-to” place in NY. We got to know it by accident one night, and just sat at the bar. It was so perfect that now for any special night out, we don’t hesitate. It’s that good. Food, service, ambiance. It’s as good as you’ll ever get!
Never disappoints, food is consistently great. Had the short rib special tonight which was melt in your mouth meat with polenta. Hope they continue to offer that. Went will with a side of the crispiest new potatoes. Seated on time, with excellent service throughout the meal. All the dishes seemed priced well, even the specials, making this the best value in the city IMHO.
Great food. Hard to get a reservation. Quite loud.
Delicious, great service, great ambiance. Definitely a special occasion restaurant.
Delicious food & wonderful service right in the heart of the Village. If you haven't been go and if you have go again.
The food is exceptional, but you can learn that by looking at the photos. What mattered...the service was extremely warm, and we enjoyed the food and drinks more because of it. The staff was knowledgeable, professional and somehow felt familiar. We were visiting from out of state and enjoyed our meal because it was affordable and welcoming.
Excellent dinner. Highly recommend. Lively upscale ambiance
Came for a one year anniversary. Service and environment was great. They served us complimentary white wine for the occasion which was very nice of them. The starting dishes were great, ricotta cheese special, beef carpaccio and scallops. The main pasta dishes were good but salty but did not warrant sending back for another wait. Only dissapointed in that. Overall a good experience.
I heard this was a "must" on my visit to NYC and people weren't wrong. The scallop appetizer was out of this world and friends and I got three different pasta dishes to share... amazing!
We celebrated to birthdays here this weekend. The good & service was delicious. There were seven people in our party and we all had a different entree and everybody loved their dish! I’d say the highlight was the spaghetti and the pork chops! Honorable mentions go out to the mushroom pasta and hanger state with fried potatoes... oh my gosh so good.
The only downside was the tables were so close you could other people’s conversations
But love the food and will be back
Fantastic! It’s not a quiet place but the loud doesn’t annoy and gives the restaurant a nice ambience. The food is very particular and is excellent! The pasta is delicious and the olive oil dessert is outstanding! I never tasted something like that. Congratulations to the restaurant staff!
Amazing pasta, great ambiance. L’Artusi never disappoints!
Great food and great service
Better than Lilia. There I said it!
One of my favorite NYC restaurants. Great vibe, food, staff, and wine list. Great selection of Amaris with a helpful staff!
Service is wonderful - professional, helpful and efficient.
The food was surprisingly hit and miss:
Salads and apps were very good
Pastas were outstanding (a bit small) - but the best part of our meal. Bucatini, our favorite
The entrees were very disappointing - Sweetbreads were rubbery and the chicken was overcooked.
Food and service amazing as always!
Amazing service and food! Everything was perfection! Favorites: Beef carpaccio, Chicken, lamb ragu, and fresh Ricotta.
Excellent food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant😊
Everything was absolutely amazing. We will be back!
Good, but not sure worth the efforts to get a reservation after many weeks. Settled on a 1030pm time slot...
This is a grade A restaurant experience. Favorite restaurant, full stop.
Hip hop music doesn’t fit the ambience and style of restaurant. Wish it was more classy music. Otherwise l, everything else was great from food to service.
Birthday and anniversary dinner. Great food but not the best place I’ve ever been.
Food was very good but between the appetizers and main course was a long wait of nearly 30 -40minutes. One of us didn’t like his appetizer so was late hungry for a whole hour before the pasta arrived.
Food was good. I had the Branzino which was excellent but the Cacio Pepe linguine special missed the mark. Drinks were great. Best part of the meal was the olive oil cake dessert. The service was so/so which wasn’t cool. I would try this place again on a different night and steer clear of that waitress who seemed bothered by our presence.
Some of the best pasta I have ever eaten. Appetizers were also incredible. Really nice wine list.
They gave us some champagne on the house for our anniversary. Perfect!
Amazing food, service and great wine list!
Amazing food, staff was very attentive despite being towards the end of their day.
Easily one of the best restaurants in New York, no question. The food was unbelievable - well worth whatever the bill ends up being. The wine list was like nothing I’ve ever seen - geographically based listings on each page of the wine menu made it easy to choose a region and pairing. The service was some of the best I’ve ever had - excellent recommendations, top ups on drinks and a comped dessert. It’d be *impossible* to regret a trip to L’Artusi. I can’t wait to go back.
The music was so loud my husband and I couldn’t hear each other. The food was mediocre at best.
I’m a regular there so I’m use to the hospitality i took a date there recently & she was blown away with the scenic view. Staff was so hospitable & forthcoming she was very impressed, food was outstanding in all cylinders
Dennis was our server and he was fantastic! His wine choices were superb. The food prepared by the chef was actually some of the best food my wife and I ever ate! The staff was very accommodating and they even went above and beyond by acknowledging my wife’s birthday with a complimentary cocktail before dinner and a dessert!!!
Such a high energy restaurant with great price point dishes! The servers who what they are doing and are knowledgeable about the food and wines. The bucatini pasta is a must!
Made us wait to be seated 30 minutes after reservation. The host was a real jerk. Acted like we were lucky to be seated at all. Not a friendly place. Very full of themselves. Food was good but not worth the attitude you need to put up with. Never go back
Will be back ASAP. The food was great and the service was even better, our waiter was extremely friendly and did a great job with the wine recommendation. Everything is well priced for the quality and the olive oil cake was amazing, would go back just for this! I can't wait to try everything on the menu. Great experience.
Superb from start to finish. Past of the day was amazing. Brandi I simply delicious. Roasted Mushrooms decadent. And the desserts...so great especially the signature olive oil cake and gelato.
AMAZING food , ambiance , music, everything. Best restaurant hands down when we went to nyc.
Terrific food at prices below what this level of quality and ambiance usually commands. Great vibe and location.
