Our nautical-themed pub decorated with fishing and marine artifacts has a beer garden overlooking the Seahouses harbour, a smart dining room where evening meals and Sunday lunches are served, a fascinating bar area where drinks can be enjoyed which exhibits the best of our maritime artefacts and a snug for those wishing to enjoy snacks with their drinks. Located only 15 minutes from neighbouring Bamburgh and Beadnell, this is a great spot for holiday makers and locals alike.

Join us on Christmas Day for a traditional, indulgent and tantalising 5 course menu complete with canapes and fizz on arrival, vegetarian option and the best ingredients the region has to offer. Adults £115 and children £70. We require a 50% deposit to secure the booking, with the remaining balance paid by the 1st December along with your pre-order. Outside was quite dirty and tired. Single use condiment wrappers everywhere and the tables needed wiping. The land lady was a little dour and inefficiently tried to serve me and deal with someone else at the same time. The inside of the pub was historically very interesting. The food was perhaps the saving grace. Good quality and well presented.

Great fish with the fish and chips, lovely real ale, and good kippers. The young man serving food was smiley but the staff on the whole were miserable. Wonder why. Not a great place for anyone with mobility issues

Lovely Sunday roast, meat cooked to perfection. Staff great really helpful. Nice place friendly atmosphere. Second year we’ve booked a roast maintained its standard. Happily recommend to all.

Very tasty dinner in the restaurant, really enjoyed the Fish Chowder. Nice old style decor and attentive service. Managed to book reasonably last minute for that evening online.

Wow. Food was amazing, staff were amazing, service was amazing. Can’t praise this place enough - food recommendations from the waitress were spot on and service with a beaming smile - just fabulous
