   Mother’s Day brunch was a big disappointment. $58 for a small buffet, cold cuts, and cheese selection looked cheap, salads were always out because the serving bowls were so small. At 5pm they were still serving bacon sausage, and eggs?? Chicken was decent. Only one pasta dish, doubtful if the pasta was freshly made. Dessert portions were small and selection was poor.

   I’m sure their regular dining service is great. But their Mom’s Day brunch was not worth $200 for two adults and two kids. Most of the food was “meh” and we kinda got sick after. “Haaaaaaaaappy Mother’s Day, honey! Love of my life. Hen to my two chicks. We appreciate you so much, we just thought a Sunday full of IBS would be the perfect gift!” Ya know what? I blame myself… I had a feeling this was coming, and instead of just following my gut and going to shake shack, I allowed the pressure of society to push me towards this experience. You see… it is not your fault, dear sweet Francesca’s Tavola… it is… our commercial and capitalist driven culture… and so… on this Ma Ma’s Day 2025… I forgive you.

   Although we made a reservation we had to wait for a table to become available. The pricing was high for the quality of food and options received.

   Very disappointing.. this restaurant overbooked for such a special weekend. We had a 6:30 PM reservation and were told our table would be ready in a few minutes. We were not seated until 7:20 PM.  Multiple times I was told there were just a few people ahead of me and again it took almost a full hour yet reservations were still being accepted. Our server was very pleasant, but my food was undercooked and cold. I didn’t even bother sending it back we have dined at this restaurant before which is why I picked this restaurant and I was incredibly disappointed and embarrassed since I was bringing guests.

   Francesca's has consistently good food. The calamari, salads, salmon, rigatoni, profiteroles were all delicious. Our waiter was friendly and helpful but service seemed a little slower that usual. The atmosphere is nice. We were sitting in the bar area and the noise level was conducive to having a conversation. Overall it was very enjoyable!

    Food is always good and atmosphere is generally good although there was some drywall on the support beams near our table that need repair. Service was consistently good although we did not receive a “Specials” menu until after the second time mentioning it to our waiter. My biggest complaint was the way ice tea and soft drinks were served…in a clear plastic to go cup with a lid! I was going to complain, but saw they were serving it that way to the entire restaurant. Management should realize “to go” cups do not align with the dining experience one pays for at Francesca’s. Overall though, Francesca’s is a very good restaurant and always delivers a good dining experience.
