We recently had a few days in Krakow and decided to book a meal at Pod Roza restaurant, as it had received many great reviews. We decided to try the taster menu and were so glad that we did. The food was amazing, some of the best we've ever had in fact. On top of that the service was perfect, very professional but friendly. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere in the place with some pleasant background music. We'd have no hesitation in recommending Pod Roza for both the food and the overall experience and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Krakow.

Food was good but not worthy of a mention from Michelin. Their two signature dishes that were recommended by both waiters were very underwhelming. Tried a couple of wines they recommended for pairing with the dishes, but they did not complement each other very well. The best dish was the fried zucchini flower, something new for me. One minus was that they did not address the hair found in the food, even after it was brought to their attention. Good food but not great and certainly not worth what they were charging for it.

Excellent. Food was delicious and wine and drinks were fantastic. Table by the archway in the back that looks onto the alley street is beyond charming. Vegetation with us had no issues ordering a fantastic meal. Definitely coming back

Delicious dinner, each dish had its own unique taste, great pairing based on whites mainly which was great for the summer day. The service was fantastic and the place itself very quiet and comfortable

By contrast to most Kraków’s restaurants, this one is modern, clean and tasteful in its form and decor, yet very warm, bright and cozy. The food was suitable to - light and modern cuisine, diversified in flavors yet delicious, not to mention a creative presentation. Overall, a great experience!

No lo recomendaría. A pesar de que hay que reconocer que la comida es muy buena, los platos son bastante escasos y demasiado caros. El servicio tampoco es agradable, camareras bastante secas, que además cuchichean entre ellas mirando hacia tu mesa, cosa que da muy mala impresión. El local, limpio y elegante, pero poco acogedor y carente de encanto.

Very nice restaurant, excellent food and really good service. Only is the price for wine too high in relation to the food price, as in many other restaurants i Krakow. But - this is an excellent choice for eating. We found this option when we searched for a lunch-place, and were really surprised by the level of quality and the overall experience.

We had a wonderful meal here on our last night in Krakow. We opted for the tasting menu with paired wines. Each course was delicious and the accompanying drink ticking all the boxes. The service was magnificent and the staff attentive but not intrusive. I would highly recommend a visit to Pod Ròza.

The food was great with balanced flavors (we ate a la carte but with several dishes from the tasting menu). The service was very friendly and perfectly timed. But especially the wine recommendations were spot on. We had a great evening!

Excellent lunch set menu service in the modern classic setting in the backdrop of historic building. One of the staff was apparently less experienced but other seasoned staff more than made up the difference. Every element of the set course, even though small, was carefully curated and presented. Would stay and eat in this hotel & restaurant if I return to Krakow.

Absolutely beautiful place and nice athmosphere. Food was good, but nothing suprising what it comes to the taste. Outlook of the dishes was beautiful and delicate. Best parts of the menu were oysters, beef tartar and sea bass. Not so good dishes were Veal bouillon, petit fours and rum baba. Service ok. But the waiter let it really see that he wasn't happy for the tip. Sorry for that, it's not easy to decide when you have to make some exchange rating on your head.

Another must-visit fine dining experience in Krakow has to be the glass atrium enclosed Pod Różą restaurant @restaurant_podroza in the 300-year-old hotel of the same name. It is mentioned in every notable list including the @michelinguide because of its brilliant use of Polish ingredients to create modern dishes in an elegant and bright space with minimal and relaxing vibes. Their lunch-tasting menu is an incredible experience and highly recommended to get a taste of the elevated dishes and top-notch service. We started with a tasting tray that has 5 small dishes all of which were delicious. Most notable of which was the orzo pasta with mushrooms and broccoli. The mains had pork ribs with a spicy kick from the single Padrón Pepper sitting on top of the beautiful dish. The wonderfully textured dessert had layers of chocolate mousse with crushed chocolate and chocolate brittle. A wonderful experience all around. Highly recommended.
